    Default RIP Grandma

When I was 13....I started playing poker with my father, grandfather and grandmother.

Grandma made me Peanut Brittle by hand.
    Grandma told me dirty jokes.
Grandma helped teach me how to play poker.
Grandma would give me turkey on Thanksgiving...then say "You want MORE, right?"
Grandma was a strong old broad. Grandma liked it whem women were hard-core bitches.

Grandma was a model. RIP. Sigh.

You know you're lucky right? I never knew any of my grandparents.

Best wishes to your whole family. You were all fortunate to know such a lady.

It's so good that you're remembering all the good times you had together. That's always the bestest of the best things you can do when you lose someone.

I'm sorry for your loss **hugs**

    Exactly !

Mojo, I'm truly sorry for your loss. Your grandmother sounds amazing.Like MM said you're very lucky.

I lost my abuela in June..she was a wild Cuban/Chinese woman who loved her family and lived completely in the moment ! She was a business woman and had many small business. Hell she even wrote a book..

My heart goes out to you..
    My new love...is me !

Even the greatest authority does not, ultimately, know you as you know yourself.

Thank you, everyone. The funeral is over...I put a couple of poker chips in her coffin. And in her honor, I will tell you the first joke she ever told me.

"Mikey - you know why they call mini-skirts 'airplane dresses'"?
    No Granny - why?

When I was little, I collected pennies and parking tokens for poker with my grandparents. I put one of each in her coffin
