Default Clothes Sizes? (Bear with me...)

Okay. So, um, I see a lot of references to various sizes on merchant websites? 0 through 8, most often. Now I dunno if these are identical dress sizes or what. Nor do I know how to determine my size? I mean, my measurements are basically 36-29-40 (possibly 36-29-39, never really figured out where to measure my hips) and I am 5'8" tall and I generally say I wear a 36C bra just cause thats what fits the best, most comfortably, and makes my tits looks the best. I am also pretty lanky, like I have a long torso and such. Sooooo... ummm... yeah? Anyone more knowledgeable than me able to help me make sense of things?

(normally when i go shopping in realspace i just eyeball stuff, cause i got good eyeballing skills)

It can be difficult to make a recently single man pay for sex when he knows that a quick trip to the local watering hole would secure at least one hard drunken tumble for far less cash. It is even more difficult when he is something of a dead ringer for James Bond as played by Daniel Craig and possesses the sort of awkard charm and confidence that brands a man like him as a lady killer.

Sounds more like a 7/8 to me. That's what I wear...are you refering to dancer clothes? If so, buy M/L

Yeah, dancer clothes. I was not sure if the numbers were the same as a dress size or if dancer clothes have their own separate sizes. M/L is what I went with, something that for the most part laces on so it should fit just fine. Slowly slowly I put something together that is appropriate for the whole "radical revolutionary" thing I got going on. As a domme it was so much easier, clothing options were much more varied and it was easier to just go to an army/navy surplus store and pick out whatever combined to make a sexy somewhat militant kinda of anarchistie looking ensemble. But dance clothes? Well that kind of changes a whole lot of elements.

Yeah, your measurements sound pretty close to mine- I would go with M/L.

    Awesome, thank you all!

I think I picked out a few good things that with a little bit of modification and perhaps the addition of some band patches and stuff should suit the look I am going for just fine for now. It should get here to my mother's house soon enough. Funny enough, she is fine with me being a stripper but hates that I am also work for circuses and sideshows. Eventually I am going to try to marry the two aesthetics but it will take me awhile to figure out a way that makes "circus stripper" not ridiculous or scary. Like certainly not a clown kind of thing. That would be not so good. But more kind of like HBO's Carnivale or the movie Mirror Mask or something like that, more dark carnival but in a way that is sexy without being scary. The sort of dancer who would strip to live accordion music! I am thinking lots of stripes. I love stripes.

And wrist tutus. Wrist tutus pretty much rule the whole damn school. Ah, someday someday. Strip dancing used to be part of the whole sideshow world once upon a time, you know. The two were very intertwined for a very long time. People called them Strong Shows and such. Good stuff.
