    Default Vegas after Thanksgiving

To the seasoned Vegas workers, and I'm sorry if this is an annoyingly broad question, how is business the week or so after Thanksgiving? I'm meeting my family there, and I'm thinking about staying around for a brief time.

We find that December is really good actually, except for the week around Xmas. There are some good conventions that month. New Years Eve is usually very good as well.

    What conventions?
I checked the calender..didn't see anything exciting.....

New years eve has always sucked for me...but Christmas eve...that's a whole nother story. Christmas eve......Sapphire, 30 girls working. 30!!!
    Club packed completly full.
That was the easiest night I've ever had, aside from Superbowl.
No hustling whatso ever. Just had to be present, and people were pullign you in every direction, lining up for dances.
Even when I've been on hiatus from dancing....I alwyas go back for xmas eve, every year. You can make up for the entire shitty month...in that 1 night.....long hours, but totally worth it.

You're totally right Kaylinn. I just checked the calandar, and you're right, not much going on there. Our data shows an uptick in December, so I thought right away it was conventions. I wonder if it's a Cali drive-in uptick or a holiday locals up tick ("honey, I'll be out shopping for awhile...")

Our info is that the top 4 months in order are...
    1) Nov
    2) Jan (very close to Nov)
    3) May
    4) Dec (March is close)

This data is clark county wide, if you just focus on the Strip, we have December as #3.
