I guess this is the right spot for this question? Okay, you know in the Back to the Future movie where he's on stage at that dance and he performs some 80's song? What is that song? (No, I don't plan on dancing to it, hehe)

80's? Hrmm... I recall first it was "Earth Angel"... then he broke out into "Johnny B. Goode". Neither were 80s hits... hope I'm nailing down what yer lookin' for!

I'm pretty sure it was back to the future... None of those are the one's I was thinking of. I heard the song on a Family Guy. I THINK they were sort of copying Back to the Future. Peter had Death take him back in time and he kept fucking up with Lois and having to redo it. Peter ended up punching the guy Lois was with when they did the earth angel song.
During the song I'm thinking of, some dude makes a phone call about a "new song".

Oh... the Family Guy spoof of that scene! (Great scene!)
Brian did "Never Gonna' Give You Up" by Rick Astley!
