Default best moisturizer for sunburned skin?

I was in Vegas for a week and now my skin is blistering and sunburned. I used sun block when I was there but now the moisturizer I use at home (cetaphil) doesn't really moisturize my skin and it's still blistering.

Does anyone have any tips for super hydrating moisturizers?

Get pure aloe gel..you can find it at most drugstores.

Also..steep tea bags and pat the warm bags against your skin..the tea will help the burn.

you can buy vitamin e capsules and cut them open or prick a hole with a needle and apply that to your skin. you'll be sticky, but the burn will be drastically reduced. maybe you could add it to your lotion, or find some lotion with vitamin e in it.

I got a really nasty sunburn last week and I've been using Lubriderm and aloe vera on it--it's really helping.

Moisturizers are for later. Your skin needs to heal. Get aloe vera gel ASAP. Get Lily of the Desert or Fruit of the Earth. You can buy them at Walmart. Aloe will feel soooo goooood.

Yeah, I have to ditto the Aloe Vera and there are also lotions with Aloe Vera once you've started healing a bit.

Thanks everyone. The aloe vera worked great. No more itching and peeling. I have to buy more of it when I move to Vegas!

That's great but, when u move to Vegas, use a higher SPF!! If you are blistering and all, that is damage. It takes very few burns like this to cause major damage when you are older, be careful.
