    Default Covering Bruises

I seem to collect ugly bruises, and not even from the stage! (Yes, I simply have way too much fun. ) I've heard people talk about tattoo make up to cover bruises... where can I get that? Does it rub off? How well does it work? Any other tips?

I use dermablend for my tattoos and my bruises from Lyra behind my knees. I don't have a problem with it. You use a setting powder to keep it from rubbing off too much.

Dermablend works well. You can get fitted for it at the Macy's counter-they usually have a kiosk. I dont know what other stores do. If you're a pale or unusual shade, ebay is the best bet.

I'm chroma 00 and NOWHERE had the shade. I ebayed it, and got it cheap! yay!

Doesnt rub off terribly easy once you've used the setting powder.

I know theres a few other brands that can be used as well, Yaby cosmetics has a nice cream concealor thats pretty highly pigmented and can cover minor ones. Trying to remember the name of the other brand, thats Dermabends main rival...Covercream? Ah well, i hope that helps...

You can find Dermablend at most Dillards stores. I got some for my BA scars, but I'm not too happy with it. The stuff rubs off whenever I take off my dress for a dance. After I've pulled my dress of a few times, the make-up is gone completely. Than again I don't have the setting powder, my Dillards was sold out of it when I went shopping. Hopefully it would last a bit longer with the setting powder.

Heres a locator. I have that stuff too. Setting it so it won't rub off is important.

I wonder if airbrish legs all over would work for this? Dermablend works, but I find under blacklights you can still see the bruises, they're just dermablend-coloured.
