Some recent fashion threads we've had:
I hope that helped!

No pretty much everything looks blah to me too. Big shirts, skinny jeans, high waisted anything, booties, things that make me look fat, anything oversized that is not a purse...its all on my do not wear list. I gotz curves let me showz you them.

Those shorts are from shopbop.com.
I pick up Vogue, Elle and Bazaar to keep up with the latest trends. Doesn't mean I like all of them but that way I don't lose sight of what's "in style".
This is my favorite online store:
When I want to be funky and cute:
Here's an online shopping guide:
Revolve actually has a great promo code right now for new customers. I'll post it when I find it.
Are you gonna go hoochie store shopping with us during swfest? That store usually has tons of trendy stuff. Shoes too!
Target sometimes has some cute stuff on the cheap.
There should be some good sales coming up over Labor Day weekend. I'd hit up that NM Last Call (or is it saks?) located a bit south of the strip on lv blvd. They always have a pretty good sale then. I'd also hit up Nordies Rack, they have better prices on jeans..

Hey I'll go shopping with you. I need a woman to help me pick out some new clothes. I keep coming back with jeans and T shirts that have something funny on them.
I've been spending some time at the mall this week and last. I think Arden B has some cute things. I also liked Express for jeans- cute flattering styles (some with rhinestones) and $20 off now. H &M has stylish things but from my experience and some people who I talked to you have to try on several things before you find a couple that fit right. H & M is doing the mod styles with the bold 60s prints which I think is cute. I like casual material blazers for fall. I bought a couple (one black one gray) at Forever 21 2 weeks ago but when I went back they were out of one style.

I can relate because I do rarely have anything I would like to wear either. I am soo disappointed in the high waisted pants and skirts this season as I have a very low waist. So that stuff does not look good on me. I am also very cheap. So I rarely buy anything new. I usually shop at thift stores or goodwill. I have found some very good things there. It is just a matter of trying enough stuff on to find the things that look really good on me. It does not matter how fashionable an piece of clothing may be if it does not look good on a person it is not worth buying.

Guenevere, have you been to Target lately. Lately they have been getting these Issac mazahrati designed clothes that seem to be resonably priced yet still with current fashion. Here are some classic pants

And here is a fifties inspired jacket:

Target also seems to have lots of trendy basics this season. I know not everyone likes Target as I usually do not. But lately they have been doing a better job about what they put out for the past couple years.
happy shopping!!!!

IMO, the fashion sucks right now. I just got back from shopping. I was prepared to have a little spree and just go nuts. BUT the stuff thats in right now is so ugly.
All the 70's patterns and poopy orange with brown colors. YUCK!
The bubbles and empire waists that make everyone look pregnant. NO!
Wide leg pants that make me look short and stubby. Ugh!
Skinny jeans that make my curvy hips look huge. Wah!
Plus nothing fits. Boohoo!
So, If you have nothing to wear right now, its probably because the new styles just suck. Not your fault at all. Everyone should just crawl in a hole and wait it out till next season.

I absolutely hate everything in the stores. I ended up buying dresses last year because I couldn't find a shirt that didn't look maternity or just plain ugly. What's with the shirts that look like my 3 yr old neice colored on em?!?
I bought a bunch of cheap V necks then designed my own prints. Gave em to my friend who owns a shop and now I'm just waiting on them. I'm so excited!!
I thought it was just me, I went shopping tonight for an outfit for a job interview in the morning and found nothing. I did leave with a cute pair of black heels.
