    Default HELP!! Tingle Lotion incident!

OMG so I got suckered into buying tingle lotion at the tanning salon... I never use this shit and now I know why.

I look blotchy as fuck!! Parts of my skin feel like they're being fried off and the areas that I didn't get lotion on(I was in a rush) are normal and the rest of me is fried red. Ugh...

How long is it going to take for this to fade away and not make me look like the blotch monster? Also once it fades away will it be noticeable that I missed areas? Seriously this feeling of my skin being fried off sucks ass...

I can't use that shit either. I always get something with a bronzer in it and stay away from the "tingling" or "cooling" products. Just put some aloe vera on your skin to soothe it and tell the clerk next time that you can't use those types of products so she'll know where to direct you.

Tingle lotion does the same to me when I'm not used to it. The splotches go away in like 4-5 hours. The tan will even out as the splotches disappear.

Ouch! I feel your pain! I used tingle lotion for the first time about a month ago. Even taking a cold shower didn`t make the burning feeling go away, it took about 2 hours to go away on its own. On the upside my tan was darker than usual but it totally wasn`t worth the discomfort.

Typically it goes away in an hour or two for me. Showering will help take the effects away sooner. It won't look like that after it goes away, though you may be slightly darker where you put the lotion (but not noticably).

hahaha, well of course you have to spread it evenly or you will have splotches silly! the red will go away in a few hours though. i love my tingly lotion but if i accidentally touch my face or something i think i might die from the burning.

LoL I usually do spread my lotion out even. I was just in a rush because I had a driver waiting for me and then the count down was on to get the lotion on and in the bed before the timer ended and the bed started(I couldn't find the stop button lol). Anyway i'll have to try again tomorrow.

Thankfully its faded and the burning sensation is gone lol. Thanks guys

FYI: Dont touch little children after using tingle lotion. Whenever I used it my daughter would get all splotchy and red and it took me a month to figure out why...I almost took her to the Dr over it...lol.

I forgot my lotion last time I tanned and bought a tingler sample. What a nightmare! It was like having a serious sunburn all over my body. I have to admit that it gave me a wek's worth of tan in about 5 minutes tho. But it was not worth the pain. It lasted all day, but I was fine when I woke up next morning.

Next time the place wants to "recommend" a lotion for you, ask for a sample to try on a small part of your body. That way, if you have a reaction like that, it's not all over.

I hated tingle lotions. I only used the bronzers.
