I'm having myself cryogenically frozen once I die, so I'll probably get to see it again a bunch of times when it does happen.

edit to add: I was just informed about so even if it is too cloudy (which it looks like it is going to be for me) i can watch it online...

We have a clear night sky here, and I've been shooting pics from my apartment doorstep. Short of being out west, I don't think I could have asked for better.

I shall upload some stuff when its all done.

I think my pics are worse! But what do I expect with a 2.1 MP camera with limited zoom, and no nighttime usefullness whatsoever.

I wanted the whole thing, but I was only able to watch the inbound phase (which thankfully is the cool part), because the moon got too low on the horizon to watch it come out.

My crappy camera wasn't able to catch any of the blood moon, so it just sort of disappears in the photos.

Was totally cool to watch though.

Your pics came out much better than mine. The blood moon was very cool but, same here, it was completely absent in the pics.

    Awe! ^^^

I told my son about it and he begged, begged begged me ot wake him up to see it.

So I did. I woke him up when it was almost fully covered and we watched until it was totally covered and then started to go the other way a bit, then put him back to bed.

Sleepy guy told me I was officially the coolest mom ever for showing him the creepy moon.

Glad to see that I didn't wast everyones time after all even though my starter post ended up not being correct. It looks like this topic reminded alot of people about the eclipse That makes me happy because I was feeling a bit like a dumba$$ for not getting it right about the original subject.
