I really suck at doing my own make up. Any suggestions on what to use/ how to make my eyes look like this?

This looks like a job for LatinaRose! Super Woman of make-up!

it doesn't look all that hard. take a black gel eyeliner like blacktrack and line both waterlines, and then line above the top lash in the given shape. then use a lilac-y shadow in the crease, coming all the way to the inner corner. Not sure what color is on the lid, can't see. Blend in a darker purply gray in the outer corner. Blend a highlighting color on the brow bone, and top off with lots of mascara!
1. Apply MAC shadestick in Sharkskin in a ring around your eyes, thicker on top, thinner on bottom.
2. Apply MAC Haux shadow from the top of Sharkskin to the crease (not on top of sharkskin, above it).
3. Apply MAC Carbon on top Sharkskin blending it into the Haux.
4. Apply MAC Shroom on browbone and inner corner.
5. Apply liner and lashes.
I love that Sharkskin/Carbon combo. That is my go-to combo for when I need super black eyes that last. And it's quick and easy!
I named specific colors b/c I am almost certain that is exactly what they used.
Goddamn you LatinaRose, now I have a new list of stuff to buy from MAC. Gah!
I believe you Dottie and you have my support
Thanx LR!
Now for the dumbest question of the day because I know nothing about make up and am completely naive about it....Where can I get MAC make up?
for locations. Most Nordstrom's, Macy's, etc, have counters. What city are you in?
Everything I listed is about $50-60. You don't have to go out and buy all that to get that look. I would get Sharkskin s/s b/c you are not going to find that sort of product at a cheaper price. I would also get Haux b/c it is a truly beautiful neutral that you will get a lot of use out of and there's not really a drugstore equivalent. You could use Milani's or any brands black shadow and shimmery brow color.
So you could splurge on the Sharkskin and Haux, save on the black and shimmery. Or splurge on it all, they are all makeup essentials, IMO. I use these all the time.

Perimeter Mall has a free standing Mac store

I've gotta say it, I would glady board a plane, fly to the states, track down LatinaRose, pay her to do my make up, fly back and work! lol. Bit of a treck from UK!
Oh and I would never wash it off - I would just keep it forever and ever and ever....lol

Thanks LR. I did what you said and it turned out pretty great. But I used Idol Eyes instead of Haux and Nehru instead of Carbon and graphito paint instead of Sharskin, because that's what I had. But I did have the Shroom at least!
I still haven't had the extra money to buy this make-up yetBut I really love this look so I'm gonna splurge as soon as I can!
