I love Boney M, but the original just doesn't have that extra kick I would like for a stage song. Does anyone have a recommendation for a good cover or remix?

Don't know about covers (I'll browse around later and edit if there be such an animal) but there is an extended mix, mega mix, and this might be your best bet:

Anything with the name Rasputin, I gotta have...

Like Rasputina, I went and DLed a bunch of stuff by them as soon as I found out they existed.

Never heard of this one, but I went and am now DLing several versions.

But what's this? It says in Soulseek that Abba did Ra Ra Rasputin? Is it the same as Boney M's song but a different version?

There was a bunch of other strange stuff under the name, I'm DLing it too, that's the way I do this--no wonder I have all this weird shit on my computer, lol!

    OK, here it is:

Wa-Wa Deejays "Rasputin '07" (Club Mix)

I got it on Soulseek. Never heard of Wa-Wa Deejays, but it's a souped up, catchier version of the original that should do the job for you. Beware the sudden slowdown in tempo at about 2 minutes, or be ready to use it somehow, which I have no doubt you could pull off. Or maybe cue it in then, it's a long song anyway.

The 'Abba' turned out to be Boney M. Some interesting other stuff, like this strange moody German metal thing. I'm still listening to the rest of them, lol...
