I agree with Amber Honey but this video^^^ is still a guilty pleasure. I must be one conflicted individual...or a portly hypocrite!

Imagine if smokers walked around covered in tar, reeking, sticky, and steaming and oozing and smelling like a freshly paved road. Or if cocaine addicts internal damage was visible (ie, if their noses just straight up fell off and they had to walk around with a nasty blood soaked piece of gauze to cover up the hole and prevent constant infection). What if people with bulimia walked around covered in vomit all day every day, smelling like hot trash and putrid death? If everyone's addictions were visible, people would SO not respond to fat people the way they do.

My weight has gone up and down since high school. I went from being the girl with the perfect body and the big natural tits...I used to have a body that woulda won Hawaiian Tropic and Hooters contests... and then my dad died and I ate myself up to almost 220lbs. Now I'm smaller than that, and am still in the process of losing weight... but food can SO be an addiction. It's just that when someone is fat, you can look at them and see their most intimate weakness, the thing that truly cripples them like nothing else. You can look at them and instantly you know their secret.

You know, I could never really feel sympathy for heavy people--even after growing up constantly getting shit for being little and skinny. Before I read this--well done...

^^^ I bet parents who have kids in wheelchairs, on life support, with cerebral palsy, with deformities, and any other VISIBLE disability would SO TOTALLY AGREE with you.

Shame will inspire those brain trauma victims from the Iraq war who aren't trying as hard as they could to recover cuz of depression to make each and every physical therapy appointment. Call them retard enough, and they'll get ta moving!

When I was younger people used to call me skinny, tell me I needed to eat, tell me I needed to breastfeed myself from one of my tits cuz my momma obviously never fed me, all kinds of stuff... so I've gotten both ends of that. I wasn't even super duper skinny, but I was a size 3 with natural DD's until I was 22 and to most of the real sized world, that is skinny.

The biggest I ever got when I was 220 was a size 14/16, and felt ridiculously large, I do not understand how this size 14 is the norm in the USA, seriously.

I've lost about 40lbs since then and I still want to lose another 30 so I can be a size 6 (size 6 for me is around 150lbs, and I am 5'9'' and some change anyways).

I never was the type to tease anyone for anything, really. But I will verbally destroy someone for their foul fucked up characters and dispositions in a heartbeat!

I will say that fat people for the most part are fat because they will not eat less/work out more for whatever reason. I had to just accept the truth that I got fat because I was eating chicken fried rice every time I was sad instead of just crying and mourning and moving on.

Some people smoke cigarettes, some people snort cocaine, some people get tattoos to heal a heartbreak, some people shop in excess...everyone has an unhealthy coping mechanism for SOMETHING.
