Me too on this one! I had such bad experiences with girls in high school I had written them off as catty bitches. After dancing and meeting so many strong, beautiful, incredible, intelligent women, I see that the catty bitches- while they do exist- are very much a minority. I LOVE women now... my problem is, I kinda hate men.
It's so strange to think about where I'd be if I hadn't become a stripper because it became such a big part of my life. Three of my best friends are strippers and I love them to death. I do know-
-I wouldn't be as confident our outspoken as I am now.
- I wouldn't be as comfortable with my body.
- We definitely wouldn't live in the house we do now.
- We probably wouldn't have taken some of the awesome vacations we have.
- I would probably have taken one of the few mediocre job offers I received when I graduated from college and would be barely getting by, secretly jealous of strippers and the lives they lead.
-The things I think of as attainable goals now- padding our savings account, saving for another vacation in Mexico, buying a Lexus- would just be dreams.
-My husband and I probably wouldn't be as open about our sexual desires as we are. My becoming a dancer led to a curiosity about experimenting with girls, which led to us talking about our fantasies more than we ever would have- and acting a few of them out....
-I may have met other friends elsewhere, but no one in the world could compare to the girls I've met dancing. They are the best.
There would be benefits- I never would've had to lie to my family and strangers about what I do, for one- but the pros definitely outweigh the cons for me.
