    Right !!
I'm going back red, as we speak ! I'm a natural blonde, I've always made good $$ that color..I'm just more comfortable red..which means I make more $$..

^^^ OooOOhH good luck!!!! I love being red and I miss it.... blonde is cool and it's been nice to have something different, but I'm a redhead (well, a fake one... ) at heart and I know I'll go back to it soon... I think one of the most interesting things about changing your look is seeing how your customer base varies a little!! Even a simple thing like hair color will automatically add/subtract/change around the people you attract.... definitely amuses me.

^^ Precisely! I love how changing my look once in a while allows me to dance for customers that previously would've never been interested in table dances from me

I recently switched up my makeup, started wearing longer hair, and I wear more white at work. I've noticed a difference in my appearance. I also started at another club and changed my dancer name..I think doing that made a difference too.

I've been thinking about giving myself a makeover.. I'm not sure where to start, though.. Haircolor, I guess.. I was thinking blonde like Marilyn Monroe, and a bit more of a glamour girl image.. I dunno..

Buying new jewelry and accessories are a good way to change things up. When I buy new stuff it spruces up old outfits and makes me feel sexier.

^^^ So accessories don't get in the way while you're on stage or giving a dance?

It tends to work that way for me, too, but the diea of changing what I've been doing kinda scares the willies outta me.. Seriously, what if the money's not there, y'know? I know, I just need to stop worrying and decide for myself, but I can't help but feel a need to bounce ideas and such off of my peers..

buy some fashion magazines or expensive lingerie catalogs and cut out models that you like their style. then go to VS or fredricks and try to mimic the idea-- shit even walmart you can find some shit to immatate what you see in the more expensive catalogs/mags.

I'm a big fan of chokers, or lacy wrist bands...that kind of thing.

I just bought a pair of black opera gloves that make me feel super sexy, but I take them off before I go on stage.

I also have a feather boa that is fun to play with while onstage and while giving dances.

Anytime. I love getting a really expensive look and paying super cheap, or just accomplishing the style I want and doing it on a budget.

Another tip, go to abercrombie kids or even the walmart kids aisle and you can rip up some of their clothing and it will be super tight. i do that occasionally with shorts and skirts. (most stripper clothing does not fit me since i am nt 6 foot with gigantic tits and 18 in waist)

I want to come out of my pregnancy-imposed retirement looking(and feeling) like a whole new bombshell.. I'm liking your ideas, especially since I like to save money, myself..

I'm trying to do that in a way at the moment thru finding a 'look' that works for me and makes me stand out amongst all the other girls at the club. For now, it is wearing an outfit with tassels as well as my long hair. So I'm going to get another similiar outfit inspired by ( http://shop.trashy.com/index.php?s=product&set_id=8673 ) made for this club (and maybe elsewhere if it will work elsewhere).

Plus having my fake fringe/bangs help.

I'm also thinking of trying to find a way to make my hair lighter (more sandy brown .. aka the 'blonde side of brunette') without damaging it (as I pride myself on how healthy strong my actual hair is)...

hmm.. going to a really super professional stylist wont break your hair, but any kind of lightening damages or weakens hair. maybe try some lemon juice and lay in the sun?

I LOVE Walmart kids clothes! I can't believe how slutty some of them are. Perfect stripper wear...isn't that kinda sad. I can't wear regular women's Walmart clothes because the smallest they have (usually a 4, rarely a 2) fits like a 6 or an 8.

Last year sometime I bought glittery pink go-go boots (for halloween) in the kids shoe aisle (womens 7=kids 5) that had a good 3.5" heel.

I love doing the reinvention thing every so often. Usually it involves a major hair color change after a bad breakup. Recently (since June) I went from medium length blonde hair and about 130lbs to long, straight black hair and about 110lbs. I feel like 800 times sexier. I've started wearing more royal blue actual stripper wear instead of my borderline goth outfits. I hope to get waist length extensions and tone up a bit more before I'll feel totally different. I've been doing a lot better at work, I'm not sure if its the new look or the better attitude I have now. Perhaps both.

I'm crazy enough to try it as summer is coming up. Spring is here (so is the rain yet the sun is out at the moment)... hmm.. I also need to get some colour on my skin (without damanging myself).

My hair did go lighter when I regularly lay out in the sun for 15 min max each and every day it was sunny enough to do so... hmm...

I am dancing in a new club in which I am the smallest dancer...by far. I'm not the youngest but in those dark lights ,kinda look it because of my size, ( or lack of size,LOL) but i don't really feel sexy in the 'valley of the curvy amazons'.

However, I find that younger, shorter and thinner custies seem to gravitate towards me. So, I have been experimenting with Japanese anaime looks. Doing really big, made up eyes and since i have sort of a long, mid-back shag, just doing a lot of back combing on the top. When I go to the Japanese section of town, ( the rich UCLA students), I get so many great ideas. The college boys and girls have this great rocker/anime thing going on that had been inspiring me.

So, instead of feeling inadequate because I don't look like a curvacious Latina like mos the girls I work with, I'm leaning towards just being 'cute' and going with it.

    Great thread.

Getting your nails regularly done is also a great confidence booster for me (if and when I can afford it though).
