Default When can you go back to work/dancing, after BA?

I had my BA almost 4 weeks ago and Im ready to go make some $money$ but Im not sure when I can go back to dancing you know and not mess anything up. My ps says u can go back to work after a week or whatever but I know he's not talking about pole dancing lol. Im not really wanting to ask him when I can go back to stripping or the nurses cuz...well Im just not comfortable.

Oh and I had saline under the muscle with crease incision.

    Thanks y'all!

Why not ask your doctor about pole dancing?

With over the muscle implants, you can basically go back to dancing as soon as you feel up to it (providing that your incisions are fully healed).

With under the muscle implants, there is an additional worry for dancers going back to work too early. Usually unders only have partial muscle coverage. This means that if you do heavy upper body exertion that muscle will push down on part of your implant ... but there won't be much in the way of scar tissue adhesion to hold the implant in place yet. As a result it's possible for you to cause your implant(s) to 'shift position'. If the muscle contraction pushes them down, you increase your chances of 'bottoming out'. If the muscle contraction pushes them sideways, you risk widening the gap between your breasts. And if you got anatomically shaped implants, you also run the risk of 'rotating' your implants ... which makes your breast(s) take on a freaky look. As such, most authorities recommend waiting at least 6 weeks with under the muscle implant placement in order to allow a scar tissue layer to form - which will help hold your implants in proper position.

i agree with what melonie saids.

I have overs - went back after 3/4 weeks.

My friend had unders - went back like week 4 - did nothing but worry that she had pulled something, torn something, ruptured something - so left it another 2 weeks and felt alot better and far more comfortable to make money rather than worry endlessly.

Melonie are you talking 6 weeks just to go back to dancing or to do pole dancing?
Would it be ok to go to work if you took it easy and didn't do any pole work?

Also, as I might be getting anatomical implants I am very interested in this rotating. I have read a few things about this happening. Can it happen at any stage or is it only just after the surgery? This is my main concern with getting the anatomicals.

Some of the most effortlessly beautiful, kind, intelligent, successful, motivated, driven and ridiculously hilarious women that I have ever met have been dancers. I've met the best friends that I've ever had in this industry.

I had saline unders, went back after four weeks. I took it REAL EASY, though. Like no pole work, not even a spin. Just try not to use your pec muscle at all, for another couple weeks.

I was so worried about them moving or complications, I didn't even drive for two weeks.
