Default I need help from the chefs!

I'm baking a spaghetti squash and it's making weird crackling and hissing noises. I poked lots of holes in it before I put it in the oven but I don't know if its supposed to be this noisy while its baking.

It's not going to explode is it? I really don't want to clean the oven tonight. Plus, I'd be pissed if I couldn't eat it 'cuz that bugger was expensive.

The crackling and hissing is most likely the liquid in it dripping and burning on the hot floor of the oven, or on the pan or whatever it's sitting on. If you poked plenty of holes in it, I doubt it will explode.

It won't explode, but it's always a good idea to line your oven floor with foil.

    Thanks guys.

Good to know it won't explode. I'm using Scarlett_vancouver's recipe and I'm really looking forward to the squashy-deliciousness.
