    Default The Quintessential Stripper-purse Thread!

So.... we've had pic threads on outfits, make-up, shoes, and jewelry. What's missing? the PURSE thread!!!! Plus, this is something to which everyone can contribute, as it doesn't cross anonymity boundaries.

I just got my first designer purse today.... I got a little tipsy at the mall, saw the MOST adorable clutch-purse at Ted Baker (hehe they gave me alcohol! bombay sapphire and cranberry cocktail.... now thERE's a good way to encourage sales on a slow day... ) and had to get it! I'd been looking for new, higher-quality stripper-purse anyway, and this one was the same pattern as a $350 dress I'd been drooling over since christmas. Since I can't justify the dress, I bought the clutch. I can't wait to stuff $$$ in it!!!!!

I want to see what you ladies use @ work! (or used to use, whatever the case may be.) I'm expecting an interesting variety here...

(sorry, i was doing an overdramatic 'i'm tipsy and presenting my purse!' pose...)

It looks like a very stylish stripper purse. I like seeing all the different things the dancers use--this should be a cool thread!

doesn't hold very much more than the money... but never mind!

I need a new stripper purse.. right now I'm using a stupid little black cotton thing with tinkerbell on it. Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge Disney whore, I love me some Tinkerbell, but I feel like I need something that looks more expensive. Maybe I'll go to target today and see if I can find something that might cost $15 like the one I have now, but doesn't look so much like it. Urgh, I hate spending money on work stuff, though, when I sometimes think it's so small that the guys wont notice. Hm.

Back from Target! Lol, I'm such a cheap stripper. Found this little gem for $14.99! You KNOW it's classy when it's got rhinestones AND fake black silk!

Some bitch at work stole my vic's "made to tease" purse. I loved that purse so much! I still have and use one that says "naughty or nice?" that's also from vic's.

^^^ I have seen SO MANY dancers carrying Crown Royal bags as work purses, it's not even funny. I did briefly use a baby blue pouch very similar to that; it came from Sephora when I bought my boyfriend a bottle of cologne and they put it in the pouch before gift-wrapping it. I took the pouch and used it as a work purse. But at least it didn't have writing on it and I only used it with a dress it matched.

I do the ankle-garter thing now. When I carried a purse I was always terrified it was going to be stolen.

Ew! I hate when girls carry a Crown Royal bag. I'll post a pic of mine tomorrow. Embyr, I love yours, so pretty.

I have a crown royal bag I keep my money in, but don't worry, I'm a minor, so it stays in my locker and it's only function is to contain my money. I can't walk around with it. In fact, there's no POINT of me even having a stripper purse because I can't walk the floor. I don't even feel like a real stripper. I feel like a caged zoo animal.
