Default help me pack a lunch

ok, my internship goes from 8-2:30/2:45ish. i cant go that long without eating even though i thought i could. esp since i barely eat in the morning bc i cant eat right when i wake up. sooo i need some ideas for some easy (and at least some of it healthy!) stuff i can take! i can use a microwave but no fridge. (im a picky eater, so nothing too out there )

I love taking things like hummus and pita bread, celery and carrot sticks and ranch or peanut butter, leftover pasta...

But on a less healthy note, you could buy some of those canned microwaveable goods or ramen type stuff!

    I pack snacky things:

    string cheese
    low-carb yogurt
    carrots and dip
celery and cream chz or peanut butter
    sometimes almonds

If I have time, I'll slice up some tomatoes with salt and pepper.

    String cheese works too.

    Sounds like my lunch box!

I second the string cheese, almonds, and peanut butter. Protein is a great boost especially since you don't eat breakfast.

    Adding to the list:

    Hardboiled eggs

Cottage cheese singles (some have fruit, but watch sugar content)

Make your own "lunchables" pizza: bring a whole grain pita, a tupperware with some sauce, and some shredded mozarella..you can eat it cold or microwave it.

Put some turkey and low fat mayo w/lettuce and tomato in a whole grain wrap

Any kind of cheese and whole grain cracker

And, not my fave, but it works for a hectic schedule...last night's leftovers

Edited to add: you don't need a fridge, just a cooler with some ice packs like LJ said.
