These are just 3 examples of breast after nursing, again they vary from body to body...

Im game, I breast fed for 2 years, 1 year exclusivley - heres my boobs before and after.

    1. Pregnant - only about 2-3 months, early 1991.

    2. About 18 months in to breast feeding, regular bra. (Yes I went out and had a beer since my son was on a lot of solid food by this time.) My boobs were much bigger during the first few months of feeding though.

After I stopped breast feeding my boobs were a bit on the saggy and deflated looking side and mismatching, but after about 8 months they were pretty much back to normal. Argh, cant scan and add pic/s from this time because my mum and son just came home, lol. Will try and add pics later.

    3. About 14 months post breastfeeding.

    4. Boobs as they are today.

    5. For size comparrison for the stretch factor / how big my boobs were in 2nd photo - heres me in the same dress this year - with padded push up bra, still cant getthat cleavage, lol.

I swear eating well, a positive attitude and lots of vitamin C helps boobs bounce back!
I know a few women who chose not to breastfeed because they were worried about their boobs. I think thats a shame. Mine may not be perfect but I hope they show that they can have life after breast feeding!

My boobs were pretty screwed up after breastfeeding almost 9 months and never bounced back, and were 2 differant sizes. I had TONS of extra flabby skin for breasts. **BUT**, I don't regret doing it. It helped me bond with my daughter and give us alot of special time togather. I also feel good knowing it helped develope her strong imune system (she hardly ever gets sick). And she's super smart, too.
I'm pro-breastfeeding, also. If you're worried about your breasts, you can always get them fixed afterwards.

Not that a woman who doesn;t breastfeed is ignorant, but a lot of the reasons why women choose not to is ignorant... i agree with jaizaine here. it's none of your business what someone's reasons are for breastfeeding or not. it doesnt matter if the reason is 'ignorant' or well researched and informed. if they dont want to do it, they dont. if they do, they do. and that is their choice. and it isn't your place to decide if those reasons are in fact ignorant.

    ^^^Bit harsh dont you think?
I think its good to share the wisdom.

The coke and cookies is a good point too. Its our society, if people were healthier it would infact have an impact on the whole of society. I dont think people need to push their views on one another - and as far as I can see no one is but sharing something that can make a huge difference is fair IMO.
I dont know why people have to get their knickers in a knot over it.

If you were breastfed and youre ok - good.
If you breastfed your child and theyre ok - good.

If you want to make an informed choice as whether to breastfeed or not this info is great. If you dont want to - disregard it. Whats the problem?

Its not a personal attack, why are people so edgy about it?

^well, this information isnt 100% correct, as some mothers who have breastfed have pointed out. i don't think i was being harsh, it really isn't anyone's business whether a mother chooses to breastfeed or not, and it especially isnt anyone's business why that mother makes that choice. what's so harsh about that?

I don't think you are reading all of it Britt.

Many things come in when it comes to the body changing, weight, time, gravity is a bitch, no one is immune to having breast sag over time but most likely the breast due to the pregnancy it self will encounter a big change, if you nurse or not. I have friends that haven't nursed and have shown me that their breast changed and never went back to normal, I have the other way around also, it really does depend on an individual.

I understand your point and it isn't anyone's business but I am not telling anyone to do a damn thing. Don't be upset, you are too pretty to be upset!

    Ohhh lol sorry.

Well this went the way I didn't want it too

People always remember it is up to you, your family and health care provider. Know that if anyone needs help I'm here to help. Also a little tip for getting coupons for formula, ask your friends to sign up with a similar due date as you and have them give them to you or you give them the money and they buy it with the coupons.

Never accept opened formula and always keep in contact with the manufacture for recalls, yahoo health and alerts is a great place. I think that was also a big thing for me not knowing what went in to the formula and me knowing what went in to my body made my nerves calm, new babies will mess with your brain and emotions lol

Anyway I wish everyone great luck.
