    Default What kind of questions?

Okay im so damn nervous lol. I go for a consultation on Tues with one of the surgeons on my list of possible doctors.

Im going for Rhinoplasty and a BA. What kind of questions should I go prepared to ask?

Im hesitant about this doctor because I havn't seen any other dancers with his work. Though the re-search i've done online seems to be positive.

The one thing that kinda shocked me is they said my first consult will be with his assistant. Then if I choose to continue on I will have a consult with Dr Turner THEN I can go for surgery. Does this sound normal?

Yes it sounds normal. My first consult was with an assistant, then the dr. and then my pre-op. There is a great list of questions to ask on the breast augmentation forums, I can't remember the website though. I'll look.

My first consult was with the doctor.

Make sure you find out about the surgical settings (hospital? in office surgery center?) and make sure you have a real anesthesiologist on site.

    www.implantforum.com ?

Cally, there is a rhinoplasty forum too. And fuck I forgot the name, someone here mentioned it. I think you should look through there too.

Ask them if they work on the tip as well! Ask them what they advise for healing to prevent the nose from drooping and healing in an off-center, asymetrical way.

implantinfo.com has a list of questions for your PS you can print out. It also has great before/after pics of BAs.

It would bother me that I didn't consult with the doctor first, esp if you have to pay for the consultation. Make sure you go on more than one consult!

Off the top of my head- I'd ask how long the recovery is for both surgeries together? How long you'll have to have someone take care of you? Whether the implants are over/under the muscle and which they recomend for you and why they recomend it. Where the implant incision is?
