Default Casual clothes on the stage

I was just curious if anyone has ever tried to wear like sports jerseys, a man's long sleeve button down, jeans, just anything casual when dancing and if it worked or not. I thought it might be a good idea to stand out from the usual bikini set... yes?

I have never seen it done, but I know my ex bf always said that the hottest thing ever would be if a girl went on stage in a sundress or jeans and a tank top.

I think that casual clothes on stage are cute and different especially if you can get an outfit made out of a sports jersey. Also a mens shirt, tie, and fedora hat would be cute also kinda like Demi Moore in striptease.

A girl I worked with for a while went up in a man's button down shirt and y-back. She made a KILLING and I've considered doing that at my new club.

Ive seen it done with a guy's button down shirt, boy shorts, baseball hat and a tie. Girl left the tie on even though she had to take off everything else (nudie club). She didn't do too bad-not THE BEST but def. not bad at all.

I've seen the button down shirt and also the jeans look. All the times that it was done, it was girls that didn't quite pull it off. I don't know what it was, but they still looked like strippers, I think if done right you should look like the girl next door doing amateur night, I think that would be hot.

    I should try it myself.

In Texas, I've noticed it's somewhat popular to wear a mans button-down shirt with a cowboy hat. Very cute, but I haven't noticed those girls exactly banking.

A girl I work with occasionally goes up just topless, with jeans and short heels. She actually manages to do good pole tricks in those jeans! It doesn't garner a whole lot more attention than usual though.

another suggestion, we had a girl at our club wear a black bra and panty set, garters, and a black silk robe about to her thighs
it was nice when she walked around and it opened as she walked (guys got a peek) and she made a whole show of revealing herself on stage when taking the robe off
not that casual, but thought it was smart

On a number of occasions I've seen a dancer leaving a strip pub in the UK (a slightly different type of venue to lap dance clubs in the US). As they've walked out in their street clothes they've been asked by guys (who've ignored them while they're working normally) for a private dance dressed as they are.

I'm sure it's got a lot to do with the way many custies see strippers as a fantasy figure - and believe you behave the same way outside the club as you do when you're at work.

Seeing you take off street clothes ITC is probably them the closest they'll come to their fantasy of you stripping for them outside of the club.

I've also noticed that some guys seem to like the 'demure secretary' look for the same reason - a dancer stripping out of business suit/glasses/hair up in a bun is less obviously a 'stripper' and more like the girl next door undressing.

In Austin, people go crazy over UT Longhorn football. me included. I've got a kid's jersey, but it looks like it was made to fit me.. I'm planning on wearing that on saturday and tying it up real cute with a little skirt. I'll let you know how it goes

I've seen it from bad to good. The bad: when the overweight stripper was rockin her DIY denim booty shorts and regular street fuzzy topped boots. The good: Girl wearing black booty shorts under a large men's white dress shirt. Go for classy with manly accents like fedora or a tie or both.

I had a routine where I went on stage nude, and got dressed, the guys seemed to like it. Sort of a reverse strip king of thing. It started because I hadn't paid much attention to when I was up next. But it turned out to be fun, and it definitely separated me from the crowd. ;-)

The next time I did it, I made the dressing up even sexier, stockings and gartar belt, a short skirt and a sexy black bra. I got loads of tips at the rail with that one. I had a couple of outfits that looked sort of like business suits. Short gray pinstrip skirt, gray pinstrip jacket, but sexy stuff underneath. Again, stockings and a garter. Guys really go for that, I think.

For the USGP I had a Ferrari jacket that I worked into a costume. A bunch of Italian guys over for the race loved that! One of them gave me a Ferrari hat and a big tip!

to be honest my intinal response to this thread was NOOOOOOOOOOOO. lol I have just seen this done so poorly so many times general rule if you bought at wal mart don't wear it on stage please. The suggestions in this thread at are great just tread carefully. And always wear a dance thong no matter what you wear this a huge differnce.

I actually don't do well in typical stripper outfits. My club doesn't have a strict dress-code, or even a dress-code at all, so many girls don't wear strippery clothes. I do, however, still wear revealing clothing. Don't think I'm going on the floor with jeans and a tanktop, LOL. I'll wear little booty shorts and a small tank, or even a t-shirt. Usually, if I show my boobs off, I'll go a little more convervative with the bottoms, and vice versa. Tends to work for me!

I've seen some cute "casual" looks before. For the jeans thing, they would have to be an ultra cute low-rise pair that you might see in a boutique at South Beach or something. Not the bootcut Levi's you picked up from Hecht's. There's another girl I know who does the legwarmer thing with some boy shorts and those cute little baby hoodies. It looks adorable on her. But the hoodie has to be fitted or it'll just look like you came from the gym.

Yeah I've seen the men's white button-down dress shirt thing, but I didn't like it. There's also a few girls who have denim hot pants or cutoffs or whatever they are, and I feel like it looks weird onstage. Cute, just out of context for what I'm used to seeing.

And there's one dancer who likes to try lots of weird stuff, like sports bras and old lady lingere, and it doesn't look good at all, although she still gets tipped and goes to VIP regularly, so what do I know..

But for me, stripper clothes or naked. The end.

I think it just depends on the club and how well you pull it off, whatever it may be. I've seen it look really good and cute and I've seen girls do it and look a mess.

sometimes for costume day or on the floor (we have to be full gown on stage, unless it's costume day) i'll wear a mens button up shirts and sometimes a tie and/or hat with some lacy shorts or boyshorts over my thong. i've always gotten good responses from it.

I've seen those sports jerseys do really well sometimes. Like if there's a lot of sports fans in the crowd or if there was just a game on tv or at a local stadium.

i wear a cut up and tied (i make them into very skimpy halters) team shirt for game days. i wear shorts and sports socks with it, and sometimes a baseball cap. it goes over really well.

i even had one guy (big bucs fan) pay a couple hundred dollars to have me dance for him and leave the shirt ON. lol
