As of about 3pm my middle finger on my right hand has had a numb/tingling sensation. Has anyone experienced anything like this before or know what the cause could be?

Just the middle finger or are other fingers involved? The entire finger or just one side of it? Are you wearing a ring that might be tight? If it is just the middle finger and the entire finger is involved, it sounds like a paresthesia...it's a nerve injury.
I had something similar once. I had a heavy shopping bag looped around just an index finger while I was struggling to get out of the car, get the house door unlocked and get in without dropping everything...the finger was numb for about a week.
Nerves heal at a rate of about 1 mm a day. Measure your finger in millimeters and that is about how long it should take for it to feel better.
The whole middle finger is numb but it seems to be worse towards the tip. None of my other fingers are affected. I don't wear rings at all. I don't think I injured it.

my middle fingers on both hands have been getting really stiff, numb sometimes and tingly at night. but after moving around a bit, clenching and unclenching my hands a few times, and lifting my hands over my head they feel a bit better. don't know what's causing that to happen though...

It's been pretty much the same since yesterday afternoon when it orginally started.

*double post... see below*
1/2 the time when i edit something it creates an entire seperate post. i have no idea why that's been happening, but it's annoying.

it can be anything from a pinched nerve to heart problems. however, i HIGHLY doubt heart problems unless you're having other symptoms. i've had this happen to me from time to time. one time my thumb went numb and tingled/burned for about 5 days. i have a friend whos middle finger went numb.. after a week he went to the doctor. it turns out he had pinched a nerve in his spine. they put him on steroids to relax it and it got mostly better in another week. however, it's been years now and he still doesn't have 100% feeling back. you also could have hit it weird or jammed it without noticing. it could also be the start of carpal tunnel (which is what i suspect has caused mine off and on).
i wouldn't be too concerned about it unless you start having other symptoms, it lasts for more than another couple of days, or the numbness starts spreading.
in the meantime.. try to stretch out your back/shoulders/neck with little excersizes. you also might want to pull on your finger slightly and do some mild hand excersize, like grasping and releasing one of those "stress balls" or something similar.

Is your finger paleing to the rest of your hand? Like the blood and/or circulation is bad?
No, the finger has good color. It feels like I had something around it so tight it went numb but I haven't had anything on it.
As far as other symptoms go I have been EXTREMELY exhausted lately. As of lately I have energy about 30% of the time. After 4pm I am done. The exhaustion is so severe I feel like falling over in the floor. I also wake up coughing up sticky mucus in the morning. My chest hurts but I do have asthma and take meds for it. I have cold chills quite often. I did have a problem with frequent UTIs but that has seemed to subside for now. I also have stopped menstrating and no I am not pregnant. So, that's all of the medical problems I have to put up with constantly. I went to the doc recently and had a chest x-ray and it is normal. Some might think I am a hypochondriac but I wish it was "all in my head". I wish I could live my life. I actually enjoy my life when I am able to live it. I am going to a specialist the end of the month. He specializes in chronic fatigue, autoimmune disorders and chronic mono. Maybe he'll be able to do something for me.![]()
