    Default I need a good beauty case/box

Do MAC have any good beauty cases. Im thinking possibly a metal one that opens up and has lots of compartments.

What one do u ladies use?

I bet Latina Rose has a great beauty case for all her MAC products

My all my pro cases are from Home Depot... I found a hard atache case with compartments I can customize and (the part I love) it has a board that attaches to the inside of the case with pockets that are perfect for storing pencils and brushes of all sizes. It's $20 and looks bad ass... but it may be too big or bulky for most.

I use a big black one that I got as part of my package at makeup school, it's a proper professional one but I have no idea where they got it from.

Try Napoleon though... they have some very decently sized cases, in pretty pink and silver.

Yeh I saw the napolean one on ebay but it was expensive so I may as well go into napoleon and buy it since the seller didnt seem to be giving much of a discount. I love the pink one.

ive seen one of them at my work but many girls have the silver coloured metal ones. My make-up collection is getting huge since I started dancing. When I was in David Jones the other day I saaw this awesome professional one that has lights around it (not that I would need that) but it looked cool.

Are you a make-up artist? I never knew that

Would LOVE the MAC metal one, but it's too exxy for my meagre stripper salary.

I currently use the medium MAC jacquard which is big enough to fit all my gear. But it's annoying to have to take in and out of my bag everytime I need something because it doesn't have a lock and I'm so over having my stuff stolen, grrrrrrrrrrrr.....

yep, i studied at the media makeup academy, i'm a qualified makeup artist... got my certificate III in makeup artistry and hair styling.

i didn't particularly like it though, so after i finished the course i never looked for any work in the field. i can do good makeup, but i don't really enjoy it enough to want to do it on other people. i worked for max factor briefly... but got fired cos they found out i was a stripper haha.

Max Factor are -really- fucking uptight. i was part of their "x team" which was basically hot chicks that were qualified makeup artists... we kinda acted as promo models/makeup artists. never really made sense to me, because most of the people who buy Max Factor are middle aged women who don't care if the girl is hot, or actually get intimidated by it, but whatever. i only worked for them for like 2 weeks and they found my website or something and fired me. it was pretty lame.

If you are carrying any amount of MAC, you should get what I got, which is a zero haliburton. It's litterally bulletproof and impossible to break in to without carting it off and sawing it open somehow. Plus they come in pink.

$500 for a makeup case!? It's cute and all, but I'll risk the bullet.

I bought mine on ebay for $60. It's just like the Sephora one. However, I no longer carry it b/c they are damn heavy! I have all my makeup in a small rolly suitcase. I can't drag that thing around anymore.

Oh and don't waste your $ on the MAC one, it barely holds anything!

This site has lots of options:

Just google "makeup case" or "traincase" and you should find plenty of sites to browse through with lots of different options.

For the record, I'd never spend that much on a typical traincase. I'd rather spend $100 on the case and the rest on makeup!

I have a pink traincase/trunk from Walgreens that opens up and folds out. I think I paid like $12 for it. It looks like this, but bigger:

I got what was basically a knockoff of the MAC Traincase on ebay for 20 bucks. I have to concur with another poster who said the cases dont hold much. They dont. Its good for me though, I'm pretty minimalist with the cosmetics

I bought one from Nordstrom that looks exactly like the one from MAC. I always buy makeup from the same girl and I was telling her how much it sucks that the MAC makeup case was so expensive and she walked me over to the accessory department and showed be the same thing without the MAC name. I paid $60. I love it, but I keep it at home because it is so heavy!

I got a metal traincase at Walmart for $20. I'm pretty happy with it.
