    Default Indianapolis Clubs--new thread

I have worked at PT's in Indy for about 14 months. I work the mid-shift from 6-12 (specially worked out with management) or 6-2.

*Hiring standards fluctuate. The rumor about PT's is always that they only hire Barbie doll type girls, and that's not the case at all. We have girls of all sizes (within reason), and I would say the club is fairly diverse.

*Amateur night is the third Thursday of every month. It's a good time to come check out the club, and you are allowed to work the crowd while you are there.

*Private dances are $20 a song and you keep all of that.

*Some girls do table dances, a.k.a. "dollar dances" (and I hate that term, you should never say "dollar" because then they will only give you a single).

*The house fee is $25 on most nights, and tipout is the typical 10% to dj, 5% to bar, and $5 to the housemom (who is awesome).

*Late fees are $25 (which are rarely, if ever, enforced). No call no show fee is $75, and they are strict about that.

*There are usually 14-25 girls on any given night.

*We do three song stage sets, and usually dance between five and 10 times a night, or so it seems. I think I went up five times tonight from 6-1, not too bad.

*Guys are pretty good about stage tipping, but that is subjective, of course.

*Shifts are 11-7, 6-2, 7-3, and 9-3. And management will work with you about scheduling if you have reasons why you can't work the usual shifts. They do expect you to keep a three night a week schedule. If you aren't on schedule you can come in whenever you want and work a six hour shift.

Money has been slow lately, but it is consistent. I haven't been doing amazing by any stretch, but it's been *ok* for this time of year.

I am curious about this same information for Dancers and for the Red Garter. I'm interested in VIP/Champagne rooms and pricing/tipouts for that kind of stuff because PT's doesn't have any of those things. I am always openminded when it comes to a change in scenery and I was very intrigued when I visited Dancers a few months ago.

Girls from other clubs feel free to chime in as well. I am interested in what is going on all around town. Basic information, opinions, an anecdotes are all welcome. I think it's time to update since the last time we opened up this topic.

Thanks in advance! And if you have any questions about PT's, myself or other PT girls on here can answer them and give opinions.

I actually worked at PTs three times, got fired all three times for being underage. LOL. The manager was usually so high he forgot he had fired me.

Anyway I worked mostly at BBF and BGC with trips to Louisville thrown in where I worked at PTs, Deja Vu and Trixies.

At BBF there was a day shift, 11-6, mid shift 6-1 and a late shift 8-close. Days I only worked a few times, so I don't know much about. Mid and late there were usually 15 girls on a week night 25-50 on Thursday and Friday nights. The VIP room $10.00 and the half hour fee to the guy was $50.00. I always told the guys I had to pay the ten and asked for at least that much in a tip. Laps on the couch were $10 a dance and I got to keep all of it. Tip out at the end of the night was the VIP plus we had to tip the DJ, House Mom and Bouncer. It usually ended up being about $50 a shift. This was in 2002 and earlier. I usually tipped the waitresses if they hooked me up with a good customer.

I can't remember exactly what Dancers fees and tipout was. I think it ended up being about the same as BBF and BGC. I made the steadiest money at BBF. Thursday and Friday I averaged $450 after tipouts per night. Race weeks it was usually more like a grand average. The Friday before the USGP in 2001, I took home $3000, but I don't think the Italian guys really understood the exchange rate. ;-)

I made sure that I worked every available shift on race weeks in Indy and there was a big farm show in Louisville every winter that I went down there for. The Ky. Derby was a bust for me since it was during finals week. So I almost never got to work it.

Hmm, what's the name of the club as you drive through south indianapolis... it's near the airport. Erm, it's a gentleman's club maybe?

I've been trying to investigate the best club to work at for when I get back to Indy (I went to school at Eminence, near Plainfield, greencastle etc) Any tips?

If you are talking South you might mean Classy Chassy. I would recommend against working there. It used to be the best club in town, but it has gone so far downhill that I wouldn't even consider working there.

But Dancers is also near the airport, although it is West rather than South. And I can't speak to it because I've never worked there. Evidently we don't have many Indy dancers on this board who wish to give updates on clubs.

So I'm resurrecting this thread, hoping for info on Dancer's West. I'm going to Indy again next week and while I was there last time I was told by Dancer's that if I wanted to work there I would have to come to amateur night that night (Wednesday) or else I couldn't audition til Monday. I was already scheduled that night at PTs so I didn't go. I'm not going to do am. night, I'm just going to show up there on Monday or Tues and ask to audition, make an excuse why I can't do the contest.

I want to know their contact levels, fees, shifts, average earnings, etc.

Also got pissed last time cause I drove all the way down to the Garter and they told me I can't audition unless I have an Indiana license, I guess cause they put you on payroll? That sucks cause I wanted to work there. Just an FYI for out of state girls.

Also Brad's Brass Flamingo, went as a customer and I knew I couldn't work there based on how much contact there is during a 10 dollar dance. I air dance for 10 dollars in Ohio, so I couldn't do it for that little money. They also told me that you need an Indiana ID but a dancer told me she lives in Cinci and drives there, so I don't know which one to believe on that level. Is this a line clubs are giving girls that they don't want to work there? I'm pretty sure I'm cute enough (there were probably only 2 good looking girls at Brad's anyway) so maybe they just don't want out of state girls.

Anyway, info on Dancer's please, if you have worked there or know girls that do.

^^Maybe that's their way of keeping the influx of Ohio dancers from coming into their club to work.
