    Default Two clubs at once?

So I was thinking of auditioning at another club across town as it seem their money climate is much better than my current club. However, I love my current club and really don't want to leave. I was wondering if I could do this:

Hypothetically, I breeze through the audition and land a job at Club B. Can I still do a couple shifts a week at Club A? I think I might go check the place out Wednesday since I'm off, but has it been done? Straddling two clubs?

I know girls who do this all the time. I'd just make sure it's ok with the clubs. I've worked at some places that fine you if you work at another club in town.

IMO it's America, we can work wherever the hell we want...assuming you didn't sign a contract or something...
I'd grab my trumpet and I'd do a stripper sound, like the old Louis Armstrong, real raspy. And the people would go nuts! Then I knew that the sexual, sensual, guttural sound, that throbbing sound, is where it's at.

That's called moonlighting, and, in most places, if you get caught one or both places will fire you.

I work at two clubs, but both allow girls to work at more than one club. I know another girl that works with me works at one of the clubs in town that refuses to allow girls to club jump, and she's always worried she's going to get fired and found out.

If it's ok for you to work in two places at once, go for it. There are some clubs that won't let you do that, so check first.

I used to do three shifts at one club, two at another, and just Sundays at a third. Then take one day off. If you work at a small club, you should ask their rules about it, but big clubs don't give a shit. You are an indie contractor, remember?

I've done it lots of times..That's the only way I stayed sane working in Houston.
There was only one mgr. who threw a fit over me working some place else..But he was a control freak.

Most places don't care as long as they don't feel like you're "taking" their custies to another club. For the most part I've always had my own regulars who I call when I'm working at a particular spot.

that isnt true. out of 7 clubs ive worked at, only 1 wouldnt let us dance anywhere else. and even at that one, the rule only applied to in state clubs.

you should go for it, working a couple clubs helped me from getting burned out on being at one club all of the time. =)

I've always worked at at least two different places. It helps when I start getting burned out or if one place is going down the tubes. I've never had one of them say that I couldn't. (Although, according to previous posts, I guess some clubs are like that... that's just unbelievable.)

Hell yeah it's ok. You are an independent contractor.
I work at two places, and it is very well known. My regulars come and see me at both clubs.

Ummm... I'd think it would be fine since we arent EMPLOYEES, but INDEPENDANT contractors. But then my clkubs havenever had a problem with it.

I always try to be on shift and on good terms iwth management at two clubs, so that if something happens and i'mf ired from one, i can get on at the other. Its supposed to help cutdown on my worry level. Dont think it does though.

Due to how all the strip clubs are located pretty much right next to each other on the same small street here I can't do it. However, if I dance elsewhere in Australia or even in my own state, that is okay. Just not locally.

So I could work in a club up in Brisbane and work on the Gold Coast yet I choose to just stay local and travel further afield to work in other clubs.

It all depends on the clubs. Some will fire you if you work for someone else whereas others don't care as long as you fulfill your committments with them (and don't steal customers to the other club).

This has always been my M.O. - right now I can only find one decent club to work in though. I love having two - basically as security in case one club starts sucking. It also helps me from burning out. I might have some difficulty in a city where you have to purchase 1 license per club (like Atlanta) but I'd get used to it if the money were worth staying in one spot.

I think we should all have at least 2 clubs on deck. I audition at another one today and plan to split my shifts 3/2.

Being in 2 different places, 2 different environments helps keep my hustle sharp and helps keep me from getting lazy. Also, it helps to have a comparison for money making potential elsewhere.

thats what i used to say about switching clubs as often as i do. (i've been dancing for a little over a year and spent a few months in 6 diff clubs, with a few others where i just stayed a few nights)

on the flip side, 2 different clubs might hurt you. you might find yourself making comparisons that make you mad or something. god, at my other club they do this. at club B this is so much better. etc.

I don't see any reasons to ask either club if it's ok, they could say no just to say no and you'd be missing out. Just do it and if they have a problem, chose one later.

some clubs you cant just choose later. ^ the club i worked at that wouldnt let you dance anywhere else would fire you on the spot if they found out. and they had spies! a girl danced one night at another club and from the owner, firing her.

I guess the difference for me may be that that money is great at my home club, my management is great, my bouncers are great and my coworkers rock too. I'm happy there and plan to dance there 'til I stop dancing, but at the same time I'm just trying to maximize my income. After all the fact is we do this for the money and it's in our best interests to make as much as possible. Being exposed to a wider audience by work in two different clubs/areas can assist in the pursuit of that goal.

I'm about to start doing this. The clubs are really far from each other though. I am planning not to tell anyone at either club that I work for another one. I might tell regulars or big spenders to come see me at the new one, but I would probably tell them to keep it quiet too.

But seriously, you are an independent contractor. If you get fired over it, thats pretty stupid.

^ i wouldnt tell any customers... you never know if that would get out! and taking customers away has been listed many times as one of the things that bothers clubs.
