Stripperweb always was. In the beginning, there was a vast still void, full of darkness. And in the darkness was Stripperweb, patiently waiting through the aeons for the beautiful, sassy bitches that would bring it forth into the light.

Stripperweb was born from the frustration of members of "The Exotic Dancer Forum". That site resembled SCL in it's venom and cattiness and guys looking for hookers.

At first, the old forum, was an informative and friendly place. I would read there in 1997 when I was considering a career as a stripper. But as internet access grew, and the amount of idiots with keyboards joined up, the board just became a big ol' mess.

I'm pretty sure the owner of that forum ran a travel agency or some such crap.

Pryce, like a Knight in Shining Armour, came riding into town to offer a better place for strippers to share with out fear of trolls or flamers.

"Strippers of the world!" Pryce would exclaim on the board, "There is a shining forum on the hill. A place where exotic dancers can let their hair down, express their triumphs and frustrations without fear of flame or trolls! All are welcome." He went on to elaborate, "I will protect you. You are safe here!"

As stripperweb grew, we became a communtiy. Pryce deputized certain members to keep the peace. Through strong and even-handed management he created a wonderful place for all to gather.

But as Stripperweb grew and grew, the expense of running the forum became formidable. Pryce needed more than just deputies. He needed help with the infrastructure, as well. There were times (oh, those were dark days, indeed) when stripperweb would have outages. Sometimes for days and occasionally for weeks. The strippers of the world were left to wander the barren landscape of the internet without direction.

And then, when things seem to be the darkest for stripperweb, a savior appeared. He was kind and generous and had a great and abiding love of strippers. He wanted to make sure there was a place where strippers could gather safely and without judgment on the web.

He saw the vision Pryce had for stripperweb and could not allow that vision to die away. The Other Owner saved us all from certain peril. Now the community is stable and is a shining example of how a forum can run in peace and prosperity for all strippers everywhere!

    Then end.

Promote yourself and earn more money! This is a business that is owned by strippers for strippers. Let's make that money!

I think I stumbled across the old SW in 2001....I didn't find the Pink site until a few years later.

I regret not having SW as a resource sooner..it would have helped a lot. Newbies, take heed, the info here is golden.
