I wish I could love Philly as much as everyone else seems to. it's fine for work, but the city itself. Eh.
Maybe Las Vegas? I lived there as a kid/teenager, so maybe with grown up eyes, it might be different.

somewhere it doesn't get too hot
where there are generous and respectfull customers
and not many clubs
and tight restrictions on touching for miles and miles around, so the customers can't go "down the street for more".
plz tell me where this is.
IOW: THE OPPOSITE OF TAMPA
Ahaha try Calgary Pretty PennyOr Winnipeg. There is a 3 foot rule in both cities
AND you get paid every time you go on stage

For Australia: Melbourne.
The only problem is I can't live there. lol. Melbourne likes to tote itself as "the most liveable city" except I can't see myself ever living there. It is too much for me to live there (ESPECIALLY the weather) except enough for me to visit. I like the Gold Coast.
Actually, I like Darwin as far as lifestyle and where I want to live (love the weather, there is no traffic, has a nudist beach, etc). The only reason I won't move there anytime soon is because there are no more real opportunities for me there in this industry. Oh well.

What keeps me sane on the road in no mans land is the fact that Minneapolis is a little over an hours drive from a club I book every month. There's stuff to do there and decent shopping.
I'm familiar with that Co-op in Bozeman MT. It's the next best thing to Whole Foods and Wild Oats.
Gosh, tomorrow is my Minneapolis day. Hello Mall of America and Whole Foods.![]()
Oooh, I want to go to Mall of America so bad!! Buy something good!

Emily, you should go to Vegas for a while. You can scout all the clubs while B is recovering.

Philadelphia to dance....I danced in Philly for a year and I was too young and immature to appreciate it at the time. I'd like to go back.
But I'd like to live just outside of philly, in the suburbs , like near Valley Forge Park. I miss that park, I used to love running outside there. Its really tough to run in Florida. The Humidity down here is a nightmare!
I also miss the basic intelligence of people in P.A. I hate to say this but the most uneducated person up there would be considered a genius down here. lol I'm not just talking book smarts but street smarts as well.
Most people in Florida, at least South East Florida anyway, have an extremely laid back, island mentality. I guess that's ok if you are on vacation or something but I honestly think I'm over it.

Melbourne. Definitely. Both b/c it's a great city for stripping and b/c I want to be there anyway.
And I also agree with LatinaRose. I have an incurable case of wanderlust.![]()
Cast my lot with the Bozeman crowd, if only there were a bit more to do and it wasn't so cold. I love cold weather more than most people, but three months straight where it never goes above freezing is a bit too much for my Southern ass. But that Co-Op is the bee's knees.

I gotta agree with Candice.
Ditto on the OVER-abundance of stupid people in warm climates.
Back East (not just philly, I lived in md/dc for 6 years too) education was stressed. It seemed to me that everyone went to straight college after high school; even if they weren't good students.
In AZ the economy is based on real estate. I just read that 1 out of every 3 dollars comes from real estate. Considering all you need is a 2 week crash course to get licensed, there isn't much of a push to go to college when you can make 6 figures a year selling one house a month.

If I was free to, I'd live in New Jersey and work in Connecticut and NYC. I can't wait to go back.
Most of you who call the Northeast home wouldn't believe it but I found it to be as great if not better than the best parts of Northern California.

I think the co-op in Bozeman is MUCH better than Whole Foods.
Emily, you should totally check out Vegas. You've definitely got the hustle to make money there, and you might like the city too.
So Rose, I know you said you can't live in LV because it's too much, but. Seriously? When are you gonna move there with the rest of us? LOL![]()

Vegas, but I'd want to get in better shape before I get naked up there! It just seems like the perfect storybook stripper locale, if there is such a thing. lol

hey, bridgette and susan, since you guys have worked with me, how well would i do in vegas? thought about reuniting with a friend in jan or feb.
ps- my location still remains a secret.

I think you've got the hustle, but might want to barbie it up a bit more for Vegas. On the barbie part I could be totally wrong but it seems to me that look is what really sells there. You are a good-looking chic with a great body! I just think your style wouldn't be appreciated as much in LV.
I always recommend everyone Barbie-ing it up for Vegas. Its what managers like to hire and customers like to see. I actually posted in another thread on the newbie board steps for Barbie-ing/stripper-fying your look. Maybe it deserves its own thread??
B, I'll be moving to Vegas when my bf buys me a high-rise condo big enough for all my friends to crash at!! I will visit as often as possible till that happens, lol.

I absolutely love living and working in NYC, although next year I wanna check out Vegas (of course) and work there for 3 months. At least that's the plan...
Somewhere near an airport...I think I would hate any club that I worked at for too long.
Feature costumes for sale!
