Oh. My. Gosh. I don't know about the chocolate bacon! lol

Just looking at this makes my arteries hurt.
I firmly like my sweets sweet and my salties salty, so I'll probably passs on this. However, I love bacon, and I love you, Bella, for starting threads in homage to the pork product I so adore.

Go for it; they haven't made anything bad yet.
I was at a coed baby shower a couple of years ago and the hostess had a chocolate fountain. This was a pretty adult-oriented shower, so after marshmallows and fruit and pretzels had been used, and the general intoxication level was pretty high, someone fried up a pound of bacon and enrobed it in chocolate. It didn't suck, and I was sober.
I love sweet bacon. My fave doughnut shop has a bacon maple bar. YUM!
I'm hungry! I'm totally going to make some bacon this weekend and eat it with chocolate. *CRAVINGS!!!!!!!!!*

I think I'll pass on the chocobacon..But, when you try it let us know how it taste.
My new love...is me !
Even the greatest authority does not, ultimately, know you as you know yourself.

All I know is that a vegan version would be HORRIBLE!

Thats so funny, I just saw this today in the catalog at my friends house. I would try it but I'm a veg. So you will have to let us know how it is if you try it.

This hurts my Jewish brain.
Because there ain't no tits on the radio
EW. That's so gross. The other day I was listening to Rush Limbaugh (gotta know thy enemy and all) and he was doing an ad promoting that fresh ground coffee delivery service... he said his favorite flavor was the Maple Bacon Coffee. I was so revolted by the idea of bacon-flavored coffee that I retched. I kept picturing bacon grease floating on the surface of my coffee cup, and uh, YUCK.
Maybe it's a Jew thing because I like turkey bacon but pork bacon grosses me out. I even hate the smell, which everyone else seems to love. And I damn sure don't want it in my chocolate or my coffee!
Hahha. Maple Bacon Coffee. Haha! Bacon-flavored coffee may be where I cross the line...

I enjoyed the inventor's account of her discovery. It's very sensuous...
"...I started playing with this combination at the tender age of six while eating chocolate chip pancakes drenched in maple syrup. Beside my chocolate-laden cakes laid three strips of fried bacon, just barely touching a sweet pool of maple syrup. Just a bite of the bacon was too salty and yearned for the sweet kiss of chocolate syrup."

yet again the food industry comes up with another interesting way to use chocolate.
EW!
Am I the only one who hears "chocolate-covered bacon" and thinks immediately of Homer Simpson?

I bet it's kinda like chocolate pretzels. I think I'll skip it though because if I'm going to indulge in something that full of fat it's going to be more like turtle pie or german chocolate cake and not some old dried up piece of bacon.
Oh no this should be a sin! combining two perfectly good things and making it well oh no lol

Currently out of stock?!?!?
Yo, this sounds like my PMS dreeeeam. I love bacon smothered in syrup, chocolate would rock.
Today is Sunday, my eat whatever day, so I made some gross food that I thoroughly enjoy: boxed mac and cheese with bacon bits. Yummy.

You know its wierd...I used to be a FREAK for boxed mac and cheese( I esp loved the kraft one with the packet of "real" gooey cheese instead of powder). I adored it with bacon bits and diced tomatoes. But after not having it for awhile..the last time I made it, it was almost tasteless to me. WAH....where did my comfort food go????

Maybe you need to switch to "real" baked mac and cheese? with that crispy bread crumb topping.
Sorry for the threadjack, back to bacon...

I love boxed mac and cheese! But I like the "Shells and White Cheddar" kind, especially the Pasta Roni brand. I put frozen broccoli in it and it's so yummy! But my ex turned me off on mac and cheese for awhile because he used to put hot dogs in it. He'd get those cheap pork hot dogs and boil them in the same water as the pasta, then cut them up and stir them into the mac and cheese. It was so nasty and it smelled so disgusting, I couldn't even look at a box of mac and cheese in the supermarket until a couple years after my divorce.
