I have read this entire post. And just about every emotion has come into play on this. Some are getting angry because they feel others are telling them what to do,others are showing their self righteous noses in and saying No it has to be this way not the other way.But the facts are this....
1- Everyone is different and is entitled to their own opinion. Trying to force your opinion down someones throat is useless,it only makes them more defensive of theirs.
2- Everyone has a choice.Unless you are held with a weapon to your head, You have a choice.
3- No one should be condemned for the choices they make NO ONE. Only the one making the choice has to live with the decision.
4- Because everyone has a choice take responsibility for your own actions.Blaming this or that is frankly chicken shit. Since you are the only one who has to live with the decisions you make, own up to them and be honest with yourself. Lieing to yourself is pointless.
5- The only reason that strip clubs ,drugs etc. is frowned upon is because of SOCIETY!!!. The way the world started. Back when our grandparents were young Women were made to feel ashamed of there own bodies. When they got older It was perfectly legal for a man to hit his wife. If an officer of the law was called to a house for a domestic problem. The officer would instruct the husband to get a switch and spank his wife. It wasn't until August 26, 1920 that women were allowed to vote! It took until the year 1936 for society to look at birth control as something we needed not something Obscene .29 years later a law was passed that it was ok for married couples to use birth control.1961 JFK appointed Eleanor Roosevelt as chairwoman to help women achieve equality. She was partly responsible for the ERA act passing in 1972. It took until 1963 for women to get the same pay as a man. So you see girls if anyone is to blame for what has happened to us as women Blame Society and the men who run it! And Yes Most Men Are in fact ASSHOLES! It's only a few that realize we are human and if cornered we can be a formidable force. Those are the ones you hang onto and kick the rest to the curb! Be happy you are allowed to live the life you have and Never forget how hard it was for the women of the past and how hard they worked to make the world a better place for us. One more thing Every day you work at the clubs and have to deal with a jerk, Remember this You are the one in control It's you who is taking their hard earned money home and spending it how you want and You are running the show and they are the ones falling for the illusion you set So enjoy being the Ring Master for once we have all earned it!![]()
^ That was pretty damn excellent if I do say so myself.![]()

Britt I totally get what u mean about u would not have done coke if u were not a stripper. Being a stripper sometimes brings a certain lifestyle to it. I dont agree that if you were just at a party you would have done it because it's more the lifestyle aspect of being a stripper.
Don't worry I get it and realise that you still understand that it was a choice but you would not have made that choice had you not been dancing. Simple.
There are many stereotypes about the industry that I work in. Sometimes they can be true but human beings are very diverse creatures and cannot be pigeon-holed into one category.
Some of the most effortlessly beautiful, kind, intelligent, successful, motivated, driven and ridiculously hilarious women that I have ever met have been dancers. I've met the best friends that I've ever had in this industry.
Britt I understand completely where you are coming from. The first time I did coke was in the strip club, and I'm not saying being a stripper made me do it, but well, the first time I did it I literally had it shoved up my nose. Was I drunk and very naive? Yes, of course. And it's possible I would have done it at some point later in life. I was severly depressed and self-medicating with alcohol already. But I haven't been in a situation since then where someone has shoved it up my nose.

Bicker bicker bicker. This doesn't look like it's going to end any sooner so...
Molly has her opinion. Britt has hers. Some agree with the former, some the latter. Your situation depends on yourself. Now, back to the topic.
I'm tired of excuses as well. I prefer reasons.

Act like a lady
Work like a dog

The first time I did coke I wasn't in the stripclub, but I WAS with a bunch of strippers and customers OTC, lol!
I probably wouldn't have done some of thing bad things I've done had I not been a stripper, ie prostitution. But drugs...shit I was doing those long before.
There is still never an excuse to be an asshole. I've worked in many industries outside of stripping, and some people will always be careless and inconsiderate douchebags.
Think SC customers are mean, try being tech support for one of them when their computer isn't working and they can't see their pr0n!!! Even worse!!!
A douche is a douche is a douche.
