    Default Another "quitting drinking" thread

Hello all. There have been a few posts recently from fellow stripper webbers that are trying to either curb their drinking habits or stop altogether. I have replied to a few of their posts about how I have learned to modify my drinking. For the most part i have become better, but you know it still can be unpredictable at times. When i say unpredictable, i mean there are still times where i drink more than I should and regret it(or something i did) the next day. I have been saying for a while that "this is the last time i mess up with drinking....for now i will keep it in TOTAL moderation...but i still at times drink more than i should. Since this is still happening, i am planning to eliminate it completely.
Also, I made a promise to someone special that i would stop drinking (after i was very mean to him after a night of drinking.) Still, my decision to attempt to cut drinking from my life altogether is ultimately mine...and if i did not want to do it i would not have promised him.
So...just wanted to get that out there....i too am on this mission....and i hope all is well with the other ladies who have recently decided to make drink habit changes.
Any ladies that have improvements/setbacks to post about their individual progress....feel free to in this thread and i may do the same.

I feel your pain. Although I am doing much better....I slip up every now and then.

I stopped for a week and I fell off the wagon with "a couple drinks at dinner." And I did some binge drinking yesterday. I'm with you girl.

Thanks for the responses. I am glad my goal to make this thread a support system for this issue worked!

I sometimes feel as though...it does not NEED to be that drastic of a change...i can learn to moderately drink maybe 2 drinks per outing and be fine....but everytime i say that to myself....there ends up being another time I drink too much and regret it....now it may not be that very next time after i promised myself....or even the time after that.....but sooner or later that time when i regret too much drinking comes....which is why i think eliminating it completely is best.
I look at it this way though.....i make money off of my looks....alcohol is so dehydrating and bad for the skin....body ect ect....so that next day after i am out with my friends....i am going to feel good clean pretty...and refreshed for my day, whether its work...or a shoot...a show...or just a day of shopping....while others may be hungover that same day.

^ not to mention all those empty calories, plus the salty/fatty food bar food that somehow seems to be a really good idea after a few drinks. Disco fries anyone?
