Default How to Become an Internet Model

    Good Evening Ladies,

I was hoping someone could help me. I am interested in doing some internet modeling or nude modeling, but I have no idea how to get started or where to look since I live in the Mid-West.

I also have a body that is not flawless. I do have some surgery scars, which I have discussed in the past, and they cannot be covered up with make-up.

Does anyone have any ideas as to how I can get started? I was thinking of sending some of my pictures to Score. Other than that I am clueless.

    Any advice would be helpful.

    Thanks a millions.

I guess I'm being a tard, but can't a photographer airbrush over almost anything?

You'll find help in the "Other Work" section. Just run down the titles there. Lots of info.

It depends what you mean by internet modeling. Do you want to do porn? Do you want your own solo girl site? Do you want to pose for other adult websites?

It's totally different, depending on what you actually want to do. 'Internet modeling' is a bit of a board term.

As for me... I started out by signing up at , & - check these sites out, they're a good way to get started

Yeah, depending on what kind of internet modeling you want to do, there are quite a few ladies that can help you out. The sites Darcy mentioned are good places to start.

As for Score, they actually have a web form somewhere on their site where you can submit pics. I modeled for all their 'barely legal' type mags a little while back. They are super sweet and really fun to work for, well at least my photographers were.

    Good luck!

Yeah Score is one of my fav companies to shoot for..they are awesome-ly sweet people.

But modelmahem and omp...plus the other sites are a good start. If you are looking for porn go to thefloatingworld.com and search for an agent.

Thank you ladies for all of the information.

Xdamage, yes they can airbrush it out, but sometimes it can be expensive so I'll see.

I am looking into internet modeling for sites, for my own site (I'm starting to get ideas) and for magazine work like Score.

I am going to check out all of the links that were posted.

Again ladies, a big thank you. I will keep you posted on what happens.

Look on Craigslist postings, you can look around the major cities such as Vegas, NYC, etc... where there are tons of postings for this kind of stuff, a lot of places will pay for your travel, just be careful there are a lot of fake people on Craigslist too and there are real ones.

Another site is Sexyjobs.com, there are fakes on there too but not as many as on Craigslist, i'm saying just be careful, ask for references from people when you talk to them such as other models, ask how long they have been in business and for a website, things like that to make sure they are legit cause there are a ton of sickos, I have talked to a few and found that out.

Well, I sent an email to an agency called Alternative Modeling. I found the agency on Floating World. The talent agent sent me some of the work. It is very erotic. Pretty cool stuff! I like the way it was shot.

The agency pays for your flight/lodging, and portfolio. They get 15% for the assignment. They also give you invoices for your work.

Typically, a model will stay in Florida (their home base) for 2 weeks.

    * Solo and G/G: will make on average $2,000 to $4000
    * Solo, G/G, Hand Jobs, Blow Jobs and B/G: will make on average $5,000 to $7000.

** Of course this also varies on your limitations, but this is just an example.**

I'm still thinking about the acting thing. I'm in no rush just yet.

I could do the solo, and g/g, even hand job. But like I said I'm still thinking about it. I just wanted to model at first, but I have had dreams about being in the adult entertainment field off and on since I was about 17 so....and I'm 25 now so no time like the present I guess to think strongly about it...lol.

Anyway ladies, that is my update for now.

Take care, have a good safe night, make good money, and have a fabulous weekend.

    Hugs,
    Sweet.

That confuses me... are you shooting for two weeks and making $5000? Or is one shoot $5000? Because if it's the former, they're paying too little and if it's the latter, they're paying quite a bit...

Sorry the pay grade is based on two weeks. So yes, $5000 for two weeks.

Is that a low pay grade? Should it be more for two weeks with all the lodging and flight and what have you?

    I am just starting out.

err... if you're shooting non-stop for those 2 weeks then it's really, really low, i think.

Ok. More questions. So this was on the site regarding being paid:

Each producer and photographer is different. Rates range from $200 to $1200 an assignment. Depending on what you are doing. Generally b/g rates avg at $650 per scene and take about 3-4 hrs from the time you arrive on set to the time you leave (which includes: paperwork, checking tests, picking wardrobe, etc., etc.)

Is that a low pay grade? Plus they get 15%.

Yeah.. let me just put it this way. I get paid $100 hour for CLOTHED shoot. I got paid $1500 for 4 hours of nude explicit. You're onl getting $200 an hour for blowjobs? You can make more.

All I can say about that agency is RUN. Trust me on this.

Oh, and $5000 for 2 weeks of working is low pay.

I second that. And take it from me...Eli is a jerk. RUN RUN RUN. He promises shit he cant deliver and fucks with you every way he can. I've had issues with him.

Depending on where you are...the price isnt TOO bad if you arent shooting continuously. But a per week price is odd...usually you get a per scene price. And $650 for b/g is what many companies pay here in FL. You can get twice that from some places....but $650 is about a going rate here. So if you figure you are doing 1-2 scenes at $650 a scene for 14 days...thats @ $18K. If thats what you are doing...you are getting royally screwed at $5K.

^ Do you scenes last four hours though because that's insane. Mine last... half that...tops?

Depending on how on the ball the crew is and if the male talent has..um...erection issues...yes. A single shoot often lasts 4 hours at least.

That's the agency I worked for!! I'll tell you, they promise you all this and it's NOT true, not in my case or any of the girls I was working with when I went, I was there 2 weeks and made like $2500, I was SO pissed!!!! His secretary quit on him, but still that doesn't have much to do with why I only made that, and get this, I was there with 4 other girls and made more than all of them. Yea, they will pay fr your flights and this shitty condo with this guy if it is still that way, they won't take you anywhere you have to walk down the road to this shopping center to get things. Me and the girls got a cab and went out one night and got yelled at for leaving, he said you're here for porn, not vacation but we weren't getting any work anyways so we didn't want to stay cooped up in that shitty condo with the guy that lives there who we all got bad vibes off of.

They wanted t pay 600 for B/G and like 400 for G/G. solo not even that!! They lie to get you there, I would never go to that agency again, i'm just telling you my experience I had working with them and I hated it, but it might be different now, I doubt the condo is different because I checked out the website and all the new photos of the models are at that condo.

It's your choice, i'm just telling you there are better agents out there and my experience I had and the girls I was with too, blah.

Yeah, mine are 4 hours on average too. I've been on a set for 12 hours, but that was a total disaster. Otherwise I expect to be at work at least 4 hours every time I shoot.

I had one 12 hours shoot too...it was an orgy scene and was a cluster fuck in the worst possible meaning of the word.

We all sat around for about 8 hours doing NOTHING while the directors did..I dont even know what. AND..they had an open bar in the kitchen of the condo..so yeah., by the time we actually started shooting most people were trashed. REAL good.

And some studios are better then others..whenever I shoot for Bang Bros I know not to book anything else that day. Unless its another shoot for them. Because with a 9am call time...if you START shooting by noon...things are moving fast.

Lysondra...you've only done solo correct? When you get into actual sex scenes..esp b/g when some things cant be faked...it takes a long time to get things to work right!
