so the other day at work, one of the other dancers cleaned out her bag, and offered some of her old clothes to the other girls. She gave me a back dress.
I think its just teh simply leg avenue one...
Two pieces, one front, and one back, attached at the sides by a criss crossed cord.
Looks gorgeous on the model, i'd been eyeing a dress like it for a while... BUT....
Her comments on it.
"It doesnt flatter my large boobies, and I stretch it too much so it makes me look bigger"
My comments on it.
"I'm not skinny, but i have to tie it tight enough that you can't see the criss crosses, and it doesnt flatter MY small boobs either!"
What I'm going to DO with the idea.
most likely just get the basic pattern from it, and then....
Shape the front peice so its not rectangular, and will be more flattering on creating a curvy silhouette of skin. Put princess darts down the front, so it will be more flattering on the boobs. Rather than having the cord tighten and loosen, I'll attach it DIRECTLY to the sides, so that the crosses will always remain symetrical, and won't pull the dress awkwardly like it does now when you tighten it, and the loops they thread through aren't taking up all of the peekaboo space on a skinny girl.
Sound about right?
