Hi everyone!
I just returned home from my first shift at a club I have wanted to work at for a long time. The shift was fun. Customers were respectful and seemingly cool. The other dancer i worked with rocked. My only problem, was that the club has an EXTREMELY spinny pole. I consider myself a pretty good pole dancer. at least intermediate/ advanced. But DAMN. I couldn't do half of my normal moves on account of the spin factor. There were a couple of times that I tried a particular inversion or spin, and I would start WHIZZING out of control. I'm sure that it did not look planned, ya know. Over the years, i have worked with static and spinners, but this one... totally takes the cake.
Any advice on how to slow down once you start spinning like this? From what I have found, I am able to slow it down by squeezing with my thighs and forcing my legs out. I know, I probably couldn't be more vague. Basically, the move looks like "the superman" only you are facing the pole and not looking away from it. My thighs are totally bruised as a result. Is there some kind of "special trick" to slowing down? If so, would someone share it with me. Pretty please?
I've been home for an hour, and i am still kinda dizzy. hee hee![]()
