    Default Recent Double Dance Experience

So last night I did my first double dance in a long time. A custy I'd danced for a few times before said he wanted to have a double dance, so I recommended a cute semi-new girl and we went off to the couch.

We get back there and she reminds him that it's going to be $25 for each of us. Okay, good to go. So we give the dance (it was a super hot one if I do say so myself ) and during the dance the guy makes comments like, "This is so awesome, I wish we never had to stop!" to which I reply things like, "Well, we don't have to, of course!" and the other girl just giggles and continues being hot and letting me play with her boobies.

So the end of the dance arrives, and I say, "Wow, that was so hot.. Let's keep going, yeah?" and the custy says, "Yeah, totally!" So everything's fine and dandy, but the other girl suddenly blurts out, "REALLY? But you know, that will put you at $100 already! Are you sure?!" Holy fuck girl, YES he's sure, just keep dancing! Luckily he was a really great custy and wasn't convinced by her seeming anti-selling comment, so we kept going, but he stopped after that second dance, and I can't help thinking that if maybe she hadn't said that (and a handful of other things that seemed counter-productive to me) he might have got a few more. Am I just full of myself, thinking that I have superb hustling skills, or was there something more to her question "Are you sure?" after he'd already said "yes"?

Uuugh, I have a friend that totally does this to her and me and it PISSES me off. One day she was telling a guy the prices of our duos and he was all, "That's IT?! That's all it costs! Wow!" and she rolled her eyes and went, "Yeah but I'm so over it, I hate all the men here I don't even want to do it anymore. I just am over it." and walked away. AGGGGH. I told her that was a stupid sales tactic and she went, "Why? I AM over it." That's my money too!

She was probably afraid that the guy didn't realize how much he was racking up, and that you'd end up getting stiffed. Still, though...Duh. No finesse.

You asked if he wanted to keep going and you never hid the price. You didn't do anything wrong, she just needs a little more experience working with the customers. I definitely would have said something to her. Of course nicely, I would have explained that what she did was probably not something she should do again.

She might have been sick of dancing for him and thought there was money to be made elsewhere. It wasn't fair to you, I wouldn't do it if another dancer was involved but I have moved on from a custie who I knew would have given me mmore money coz I was bored or just didnt like the custie.

The only time I've made comments like this is when I have been dancing (solo) for a customer who barely understands english and looks like he might not understand the price tag he's racked up. But even then I don't word it like "are you sure" - that sounds like you don't think you are worth that much, I'd just make sure to repeat the price exactly and be sure he understood.

She definitely needs to come read hustle hut, though.

Exactly! I would've let her know (nicely of course) that we are here to talk them into BUYING dances, not detering them away from buying more.

Yeah, but just remember us male customers, fresh from being distracted by some pleasant scenery, might just forget what's on the meter.

Granted, your partner didn't remind him in a subtle way, but it is possible to (genuinely) mistake a girl's intentions.

Being asked "would you like me to keep on going" doesn't necessarily register as the meter running on another dance.

And if there is a genuine misunderstanding on how many dancers were requested/done, then both sides can end up with a nasty taste in their mouth.

Yes, but guys also don't fall off the turnip truck directly into the lapdance room. And you certainly wouldn't be operating under the impression that two scantily-clad women gyrating on or near you would be offering some sort of horny volunteer work. I've gotten dances and always been aware of songs changing and how much I was spending. If the girl asked me if I'd like her to continue, I pretty much knew she intended to get paid...

There are ways to make quick, non mood-kill affirmations that the other girl (for lack of experience or sheer airhead-ness), seemed to be unaware of. You can either teach them, and work with them, or stand back let them talk guys out of spending money on them.

This is my worst fear in selling multiple dances. I wonder if the guy is going to feign stupidity or try to scam me. I always ask "do you wanna keep it going?" at the end of each song. When I get a third yes, I tell him "We'll be at $30 after this," and so on. I have guys tell me "I can count" to which I reply "Oh, I know. I just want to make sure we're on the same page." I've never been screwed though.

As for the girl in the OP... I really want to smack girls that fuck up my money. Intentionally or not, it's annoying. (and no, i'm not advocating being mean to new girls) We've all been newbies before, and most of the world must suffer without SW. Poor babies.

Def newbie...you should of said something to her though because when she does doubles with someone else and isn't so tactful in her "do you wanna continue?" a different girl might not be so nice in her advice...
((I've seen how some girls can treat the newbies and it saddens me because we've all been there and this is suppose to be a somewhat commradarie sp?))

Whata bummer though about the dances...Like you said though next time pick a different doubles partner...

Sounds like a newbie thing to say. I remember about a year ago I was in a similar situation where this girl and I were doing a double dance in our Executive room (which is an upgrade but not VIP room) and the customer was asking about our VIP room prices, I started telling him about it. Before I could even finish what I was saying she said to him "well, you can just keep getting regular dances from us, it's cheaper". I nearly fell over when I heard her say that! I wasn't at all trying to get him to VIP alone, I was upselling for both of us since she was the one that asked me to do the double dance.

I did say something to her afterwards and she said she was afraid he wouldn't want to so that's why she offered the cheaper version. I tried to give her another chance another time but she still put her foot in her mouth so I quit working with her. I know she didn't do it to be a bitch (that was part of the reason I gave her more chances because she was genuinely a nice girl who didn't step on other people's toes but her problem was she was too honest!)

What I do now, I mostly try to work alone and when I do do double dances, I do it only with girls I know are on the same page as me. I guess in the future if you have the situation come up again and you go to pick out a girl, maybe say something to her that all she needs to do is sit there nice & quiet just looking pretty and you'll do all the talking to upsell for both of you.

lol, I thought of this thread last night: I was doing a dance for this guy and in the middle of the song, a semi-newbie comes up, sits down on our couch and says "hey Picaresque, there's another guy out there that wants a lapdance from you. So come find me when you're done, cause I think he wants to take me back here too..."

    I played it off all cute, started cuddling with her and was all giggly and "aww, look, she came to play with us!"; then she left after a minute or so. The custy looked halfway amused and halfway ;

I said "sorry, don't know what that was all about. Can we keep going?" and he bought one more, but it did kind of ruin the mood. I get that she's new, but really...common sense. No one ever had to tell me not to barge in on another dancer while she's giving an LD.
