    Default A Motorcycle for Everyone!!!

Well, as you all know, riding a motorcycle, other than school/work, is probably the biggest/most exciting part of my life. I ride to school (moto-parking is CHEAP!!), to work, I go to moto-events and try to do adrenaline-pumping, twisty canyon rides (gotta love CA) whenever possible. My riding crew (... it's really not a crew, if anything we emphasize technical riding skills over some squidly ability to wheelie on the freeway) is my other forum, mostly So. Cal locals, GREAT people, and a fair amount of girls... but not too many ride street (they've transititioned to track-only, too busy, etc.) anymore. I often find myself wondering what it would be like to ride with the girls from my OthER forum (SW) and if so, what they'd be riding... so I decided to take the liberty to pick bikes for everyone!

A few things to keep in mind....
1.) I don't know much about cruisers. If you''re a cruiser gal from a H-D family and I stick you with some Honda.... I apologize.
2.) I can't match bikes w/ those I don't really "know" (who don't post much, lack of interactions, etc.) sorry.
3.) The nice thing about threads like this is I get to match crazy rare shit that is SUper expensive and hard to find... instead of seeing many of the same bike over over like you often do in reality.
hope you like these... I've had this in mind for a bit, but I have a Political Science Research Methods paper to procrastinate right now, so I have motivation!!!
this will be SLooOOOOw in developing as I have to get all the bike images as I go... gimme a few days.

So, I'll start with me. :-0) Right now I have an '01 Ducati Monster 750, and I want (& am saving up) for a Ducati 749 Dark. sooooo sex-ay!
The BEST part about certain duc's? (other than the handling, horsepower, responsiveness, torque....) the SOUND of the Dry Clutch... like nothing else.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4P9Cz5G0PhU Orgasmic.

Well... Since I can't get her new tits out of my head (hehe) Bridgette gets the first bike. It's a rather customized Bimota... RARE. and super-hawt... let's just say that there are probably 2 shops in N. America that sell Bimota's... *drool* Check out your rims!!!

So... I saw this bike ONCE at a gas station right before a canyon ride.... it was sooooo gorgeous... clean-looking and subtle... so AlexxaHex is getting the Ducati limited edition Matrix bike! It's a Ducati superbike that Trinity rides in the Matrix reloaded... anyway, ThIs one had the 'falling numbers' customized on the side... really trick looking! here's the best example...

BrunnetteGoddess, you and I share a need for speed.... so you are getting a sick-fast bike... be careful! they call it the "bumblebee..." it's a gorgeous, super-clean bike.

Darcy Foxx, I know a guy who stunts a pink bike- I searched and searched for an image smaller than this entire page until I stumbled across THIS beauty and liked it a lot better. It's a Honda CBR 600... i.e. keep the rubber on the ground (popular stunt bike)! The chick in the pic looks really proud- made me happy to see another woman rider.

LatinaRose, strangely, I saw BOTh of you on pink bikes. Which is why I'm glad I found THiS: Now I wanna paint my bike pink!!!!! hehehe I think you'd look great on a Monster. Not that I'm, yaknow... BIASed or anything.... I also really like the vintage-y looking stripe on the front fairing (below the lil' winshield...) cute touch...

AussiePunkShocker, I want you to have a classic racebike... This is a classic 2-stroke (I believe the legendary Kevin Schwantz won on it?) and sounds like NOThINg else... I saw a few yesterday at a bike show in Glendale- they need to be imported these days... awesome machines!!!

Djoser and I have talked a few times about what type of bike he would get if he ever got back on a bike... so I'm plopping him on a Moto Guzzi old-school cafe-racer... how fun! (*i REALLY like this bike... if I could find one I'd think of getting it myself instead of the 749- why must guzzi's be so damn heavy though!) wanna gimme a few inches, djoser? I adore the inverted engine. mmmmmm

^^^ I have yET to see a chick on an r1. (esp the pretty limited edition one that I keep scooching towards to drool over at bike nights.) 'bet you'd look great on it. That technology helped Rossi win MotoGP last year! I like some h-d's, too esp. the old-old ones... but like i said... i know SQUat. You know who has some REALLY cool old harley's??? LEno!!! ... of course, he has every vehicle known to man, but... he lives close to me, too- I always hope I'll see him sometime tooling around on a 1920's god-knows-what...!

Yeah, my uncle who passed away owned a gorgeous Harley.

R doesn't understand why they're so great. He pissed on one while he was drunk before we left AZ, LOL.

EEEp!!!! Let's hope it was just surly drunkenness and not inner H-D anger! (hehe and i'm not surprised vehicle love runs in your family- so that's your dad & uncle? nice!) My dad posts on my sportbike forum. From NY. It's HILARious. that would be like... my mom... joining sw. ( well, ok, not quite...)

Yeah, the uncle didn't just like bikes, he owned a garage specializing in Subarus as well. He's the one who gave me the car!

Gingerlee, you're getting a gold-plated Kawi. hehe... This bike rocks... it was made specifically by Two Brothers Racing (they make exhausts & stuff) for James "Bubba" Stewart (the dirtbike champ) after they made him a crazy-tricked out dirtbike... they decided he needed one for street. I personally think a hot blonde chick would look just as good on it.

Lysondra, after your car troubles, I'm giving you a RELIABLE (read: japanese) motorcycle that can get you from A to B QuICkLy and with a lot of gas $$$ saved. The Honda 919 is sporty as hell, a really fun ride, HUGE in Europe (and I assume in AU too?) and I already put a tank bag and some rear-mount bags on it for ya so you can take it to work. :-0)

Cameron_Keys, Because you live in Florida, you are mandated to have (IMO) one of the coolest harley's to come out recently... of course, it was more of a throwback to the old h-d trackbikes... except that it was done by an amazing designer/mechanic, Paul Storz, who not only tricked it out but was gracious enough to put 1200cc in there. You'll make all the boys kneel, no matter what they're riding.

Jenny, I can picture you on a cafe-style bike. I ADORE some of the older hondas... and don't be fooled by "older model," these babies can tEAR it Up! They just happen to look classy as hell while doing so. I LOOOOOOve the styling on this one in particular.

Hmmm... it'd be interesting to see if you think "my" bike fits with one I actually have or have had.

Not a Harley. Although to me, anything with two wheels and an engine is a good thing.

Jay Zeno, I was pondering a BMW, and in real-life, I could see you on a bimmer... classy, sporty, sensible, but powerful. But this is fantasy, right? So you are getting a Benelli 900 Tornado!!! I luuuuurve this bike... so pretty... not to mention the "Benelli" kinda pops at ya... :-0)

Budai, for you, the Paul Smart bike. (and appropriate, too!) This Ducati, obviously based on old-school racers, is not only aesthetically VERY pleasing (hehe and aerodynamic... if i rode this I'd pretend I was a rocket) but has 1000cc and some horses to spare. Not too shabby.

Oh, yes. Bad me, for speaking in an absolute term. When you're sure you're going to die going around the corner because it's so slippery and jumpy, it's no longer a good thing.

OK, I'm startled. Am I that transparent? Wrong brand, but dead-on right area.

Mily, we need to upgrade that Ninja 500 of yours. Great bike, don't get me wrong... but.... how about a new corbin seat, sarachu exhaust, lil' bit o' spit & polish & a few hundred dumped into it...

Britt244, I'm gonna live vicariously through you. I LOoooove the 2007 Gsx-r 600 model... every time I take my bike to the suzuki/ducati dealer for parts or something I have to sit on it & ponder. It's super-comfy and has a LOT of power... mmmm..... I REALLY love the shortened exhaust, you can barely even see it! It's a badass bike...

Melonie, I've pictured you on a Ducati Multistrada for a while. Beautiful bikes, sporty, yet you can travel with these babies if need be! (have I exhausted anyone by mentioning how AWESome they sound???) Check out the luggage rack in the back... lots of options! And the riding position is pretty upright, not crazily tucked or bent over. Comfy. btw- the red windscreen is not stock, it's a modification.

I already know what PaigeDWinter wants!!! A Yamaha V-star classic, 650.

BalletBaby needs something fun and playful... (don't worry, we won't sacrifice power...) The Aprilia Tuono 'grey' model.... mmmmm.... check out the carbon fiber!!!! this bike is f*cking cool. I LOvE the color- subtle and classy.

Emily gets an MV Agusta. I really don't know what to say, other than all my friends would come to your club just to flirt with "the MV chick." ...it's an absolutely amazing motorcycle. And red... well... you must have red.

Chrissy68, this Cagiva Mito 500 isn't in the states, so we'll just have to import it. But it's HOT. I sat on one for a LOOOOOOng time at a bike show... and they're still not here, dammit. I really wanna see you on a white bike. But she was purty.

EDIT.... I don't like the cagiva for you. I'm a dork and think too hard about this. I want you on something ACtUAlly Prettier. Like... baby blue.. This monster won 1st place @ the Monster Challenge (yearly creative competition), and has a gorgeous semi-vintage-y paint scheme... i adore it.

I love those pink bikes. I've been playing with the idea of getting a Harley in a year or 2. All of my guy friends have them and I love going riding with them.

^^ damn.... yeah that's fast! (be careful... unless it's in an enclosed space it gets a LOT dangerous the faster you go... )there's a straight at the bottom of one of the canyons where I want to do a speed run, just to see... haven't done one yet. I've been @ 115 (i was a bad girl on the freeway....) and the front end started lifting... Yikes!!!!
