As a long time "custy", I've heard several dancers mention that they prefer the afternoon shift, because of more mature, $$ spending customers- all this while working on crowded weekend night!!![]()

I love afternoons because its laid back and not so busy and rushed. Ideally I like 3pm-9pm. This covers the happy hour and after work crowd as well as evening crowd. This helps exclude the broke college boys and overflow of girls.

7pm-2am
We only have two shifts at my club, but I prefer sticking to sunday day and sunday-wed nights. However the money is consistent for me regardless of the day usually. Some Saturdays are great, some are bad, same with mondays, etc.
I just like not being one of 67 girls in a teensy tiny club, and I prefer the older dudes who come in to spend cash and then be on their way back to their wives.![]()
Should be in customer conversation.
I like day shift. I'm claustrophobic.
Fri and Sat nights.... 10pm-6am

id prefer days if it didnt consist of me sitting in the dj booth smoking all day for lack of custys. So, at my club, 10 pm- 4am

Day/Afternoon/Swing shift, for all the reasons stated above. Although, after reading that Pickup Artist forum and learning that dayshift is when all the ugly, lifer girls work.... Maybe it's my insecurity that makes me like the shift. Sarcasm intended.
Weekday night shifts have always been my fave, a great dancer-customer ratio. Not too fast-paced, and you can easily keep track of the customers, who are for the most part very pleasant. But not slow enough to feel desperate.
Weekend nights are OK, but I feel so overwhelmed, and get disappointed by the overflow of guys in there "just for my buddy's bachelor party, I don't like stripclubs sorry" not willing to spend.
I can't stand the somberness of the day shift.....as well the 20+flock of girls circling like vultures around their prey, the 5 lone customers, who are already feeling pressured and edgy by all the aggressiveness. Also, among the customers will be a couple snarky ones who try to get cheaper dances and more mileage, because "What? wouldn't you rather have my $15 than nothing at all? That girl over there just gave me 5 dances for $25" (or other stupid bargaining "skillz")
As a feature I prefer doing my evening shows.... I love doing shows when its crowded and packed and everyone getting into the shows.
As a table dancer I prefer the mid afternoon shifts... like 3 - 9 type deal... more mature and not rowdy.. I hate trying to talk to customers when its loud and stupid with drunk immature assholes lol.
I prefer working the hours when the assholes are not in. However I work at a club that has 1 shift. It's either 8-3 or 8-4. I do like working the weekdays though
I like to work when the club is in full swing. I feed off all the energy. SO I prefer to work Friday and Sat. nights, 11pm-5am

Whenever I can. I'm at that perfect 'just love working because I don't have to' phase.![]()

I like Mon-Thursday night shift. It's when I'm most awake and I just like the kind of guys that come in. It's more the middle aged crowd whereas dayshift is middle aged but lots of way older guys. Sure you have to deal with the young ones that suck, but the 30-50 year olds are my favorites!!

it varies depending on the club. my last club i only worked days. i made better money than if i worked at night. now, though, i would prefer to work weeknights but i cant with school. and sometimes theyre a total waste anyway.. i do work weekends but the weekend crowd annoys the hell out of me because theyre a) young b) wanting to party/hang out c) usually looking for more than dances and d) all of the above don't like to spend money.
Thursday 9pm to close. At my club, this shift has fewer on shift girls than the weekend but is just as busy. So, less competition. Also, there are fewer bar staff, so less people to tip out!
Friday and Saturday nights. I am sober, so I love to take advantage of drunk people. I'm never bored on these shifts.![]()
Sunday 4-9. The after church crowd! It's busy enough for me to make a little money, but for some reason I love sitting in the dressing room with my laptop, doing homework, checking dlisted...
I have always liked nights and mostly the busy ones. I need the energy, plus I get bored too easily when it's slow. If I'm there at night, I can just leave and go out
Plus, I can't stand regulars and you kinda need em for days.
I would prefer days if I was allowed to be on the floor and hustle the customers, as they're mainly older business men who come in for dances... but if I can't talk to them to get the dances unless they come to my stage, I may as well just work night shift where I have a better chance (more customers) of someone being interested in me, more people at my rack, and more stage tipping. So i work Monday, Thursday, Saturday 8-2
I'm not good with getting regulars and the champagne room, so day shift sucks for me. Also I seel shots to, and its pretty hard to sell hard liqour or jello shots at 2 am. At 11pm I have to beat the drunks off me with a stick. Sometimes the nights suck though, cheaper crowd.

We don't have shifts where I book. We all work opening to close. That said, regular customers as nosy as some of them can be, are a BIG help to the bottom line. In a lot of clubs I work in, the girls with the most good regulars tend to have to highest earnings for the week.
