I've heard from a few of you girls that cohesive gel is now available for implants? Is that for everybody or do you have to be approved or something? If anybody has a link to something about it that would be very wonderful also.![]()

everyone in australia.
i heard in the US the only cohesive gel available are the tear drop (anatomical) shaped ones? is this true? we can have those or round.
There are many stereotypes about the industry that I work in. Sometimes they can be true but human beings are very diverse creatures and cannot be pigeon-holed into one category.
Some of the most effortlessly beautiful, kind, intelligent, successful, motivated, driven and ridiculously hilarious women that I have ever met have been dancers. I've met the best friends that I've ever had in this industry.
I got cohesives. I thought it was only if you were on a 2nd surgery, or if it was reconstructive.
But Emily's link proves otherwise.
Mine was reconstructive, as my boobs were sort of uneven. They started to look like shit, basically.
They are amazing.

Co-gels have finally been approved by the FDA for public use. Previously they were still in study so you had to qualify for them under certain restrictions (reconstruction, etc). Now you just have to be at least 22 years old to get them in the US.
My new babies are co-gels. They are less than a week old and they feel much better than the salines already. YAY!

^^
are they tear drop or round Bridgette?

ya i just settled for the salines..i'm only 20 and didn't want to wait either!
I have 720cc's and when i want to go bigger in a few years i will just get those..hehe my water balloons are good for now =0)

oh wow they finally approved it. took a while.

Ok so its not the "gummy bear ones" persay its just the regular silicone gels
that still have the potential to leak because they are not solid like gummy bears
or jell-o. I called Dr.Teitelbaums office and they said they are NOT available
and that you have to be part of a study still. Confusion..haha
