I seriously doubt it will ever happen, but boy do I wish they would make this. And please don't bring up the Kristi Swanson/PeeWee Herman fiasco.

They won't, because of the earlier one and because Sarah Michelle Gellar is REALLY done with Buffy. The TV show ended primarily because she didn't want to be Buffy anymore, so I doubt she'd be down for a movie.
^^^ Ha ha... yep.
I love the show, but I can't stand her.
I've made due with the "Season 8" comics that they've been releasing over the past few months. Awesome art and mostly scripted by Joss so it's very true to the feel of the show! But wahhhhh I wish that she'd had a change of heart so we could get our show back. I refuse to believe that all good things must come to an end.
And speaking of, wahhhh Firefly!
^^ Cheers on the comic! I do love what they've done with the continuation of the storyline so far. It's sort of fitting, now that the whole premise of Slayers (plural) has changed, that they're striking off into a new medium for telling this new story. That's the way I'm looking at it, anyway. *stoically makes lemonade*
Have you read the comic "Fray", by the way? It's a Slayer tale set far in the future - all Joss, again. I thought it was excellent.
Also! I keep hearing rumblings about an animated series that would be a return to the high school years, as in untold stories, but this time WITH Dawn included. I kind of like that concept, too, thugh again, only if Joss is at the helm so it doesn't come across as bad fanfic. (Speaking of someone who has actually *blush* WRITTEN bad Slayer fanfic.)

considering i'm pretty much the biggest buffy fan walking this planet, i'd love to see a movie, but it's never going to happen.
the comics are good... not as satisfying as the real thing, but i'll take what i can get.
i miss buffy![]()
The biggest!?! Ha! Them's fightin' words! *puts up fists* Prepare for a epic chickfight, a la Faith v. Buffy in Graduation Day Part 1! Slayer on Slayer!
Ok, it'd probably be more like the sissyfight a la Xander v. Harmony in Season 4, at least from my end . . . Ok, we'll let go on the count of three.
Cheers, Darcy. I just have to revel in my TOTAL geekiness sometimes. No one brings it out of me like Joss gosh darn Whedon.
