    Smiley Alcohol weight gain

    Ive gained weight in my tummy area. I know its from the alcohol. Ive cut the alcohol out but whats a good plan to get rid of my muffins and my rump that has its own zip code? My diet will be clean startin tomorrow. Those damn cocoa puffs killed it for me today .

    I always allow myself one minor screw-up a day. More than that and I do some situps and try and do better for the rest of the day. If you let stumbles derail you, it's much much harder to stay on track. If you expect that you'll screw up your diet every now and then and just keep going with it, you'll get better results and faster.

    You can't really get rid of fat in a targeted way, but building up the muscles under the fat will make the whole area look better, especially once you lose a little weight. I'm a big fan of the The Firm in general (that damn 14" step makes my tush burn like whoa), and I like the video from Crunch, "Fat-Burning Ab Attack." The warm-up and standing abs don't do much but make me sweat a little; the floorwork though, DAMN!

    Lol, I wondered why this thread had a smilie face next to that title. Typo?

    Anyways, cardio, watching your diet, sit-ups... I've always wondered what kind of weight I'd lose if I cut out the booze... but I've never been able to do that.

    Im just wondering how many weight training days and for how long. I want to tone as I lose.
