    Default Pole for an Apartment?

I am looking for a fun way to keep in shape in addition to staying close to my stripping roots.
I have done a ton of searches but have not found very much info on poles that I could use in an apartment -obviously I need something that's sturdy but something that isn't going to screw up our ceiling or we will be kissing our deposit goodbye!
I think I could have a lot of fun with this and would love any advice on what pole to go with in terms of:
    brand names?
    brass or steel?
    spinny or non-spinny?

I just want to jump in and point out that a ceiling mount will not necessarily forfeit your deposit. You can always just spackle over the hole and I guarantee no one will notice. That's what I'm doing in my apartment.

I'm in an apartment and I use X-pole. If you install it properly you shouldn't have any reason to be fearing for your deposit.

    X-Pole!

Because it's strong and sturdy, yet it's a fully removable pole which means you can take it just about anywhere. I've taken mine to hotel rooms, friends' places and even interstate. It's the best.

Mine is the 500mm chrome-plated pole, and you can alternate between spinning and stationary mode (for me that depends on whether I'm feeling lazy or not hehe).

Get a X-pole like the other girls said...I had a peek-a-boo given to me as a gift and that thing is just completely useless...

try the one that can be a stationary and a spinning pole those are hella fun!!!

True story. I manage an apartment building and as you don't leave the ceiling all dented and crappy you won't get a chargeback for it. However, I HAVE had to file chargebacks for bad tenant-done repair jobs so if you spackle it yourself, make sure you do a good job.
