So I did a lot of bitching on this board about moving...I had a rocky first few weeks, but things have picked up considerably.
I have made a few friends, and am starting to get into my program a lot more. It can be really intimidating, there is a reason why the people you are in school with got into the program. They are all really smart and work really hard and the pace of school in general is really intense. I have learned a lot about good study habits, and I have even surprised myself at how hard I have been working.
Admittedly, though, sometimes the intimidation is discouraging and I feel like the dumbest person there. I think a lot of people do that at some point, cause we plow through so many concepts so quickly, I don't think everyone picks up everything right away. but they damn sure act like they do in class.
It is unfortunate that you have to take a lot of focus off of making money, I have blown off work all week to study for exams. And oh am I going to pay for that working all weekend. Overall, I guess I am going to have to learn to live on working less, and I hope I can get away with it at this club. But cutting spending isn't that hard when you have no to time to spend money.
Overall it is really interesting. The whole intense program thing is a new experience. It's weird, there is such a mix of ages and backgrounds...people really stratify themselves by age group. There are a lot of interesting observations, but I won't bore you guys...and I have to get up at 6.NOOOOooooo!!!!
