eeek!

and nothing about it in the mass media...
If the report is accurate (and I can envision more than three reasons), and if something happens in the near future (say, five to ten days?), then the mass media will have plenty about it. If they took a break due to a temporary lull and file back in from vacation, then perhaps the quality of the analysis will be a bit suspect. But would their return (assuming that there were people there alleged to be there, and that they left as alleged) be reported as well?

^^^ all I can say is that A. this news report is uncorroborated ...
but B. scattered reports of the sudden departure of Russian technicians from Iraqi facilities was also uncorroborated until AFTER the Iraq invasion provided for seizure of official records !!! ...
and C. scattered reports that Russian technicians took nuclear materials with them during their hasty exit from Baghdad to Syria just prior to the Iraq invasion remain officially uncorroborated to this day !!!
"Uncorroborated," of course, means "unconfirmed," "unproven," "unverified," and possibly even leading to, "unfounded."
So that's what happened to the Iraqi WMDs. The Russians took them!! Flew 'em outta the country!! Yeah.... who would've started that rumor, anyway?
Well, this is fun, but I guess we'll see soon enough if the F22s unleash on the Iranian facilities. If they don't.... well, it's been fun to talk about.

ironic quote ... "the actual TRUTH is a function of one's security clearance" !
Also, the 'truth for public consumption' is a function of the news agency's editorial policy, as well as the policy of major stockholders and major advertisers ! Just ask FDR or LBJ or WJC !
Well, sure. Then we can claim anything we want and just say, "Oh, the government just doesn't want you to know it."
For instance, I just heard about a massive movement of equipment and support personnel from South Korean biotech labs into India. And lawyers for Indian companies have been showing up at patent offices worldwide. What it obviously means is that with the lack of funding of stem cell research in the U.S. and the advances in South Korea, the Indians are paying to co-opt that technology, leading to a revolution in tissue regrowth and genetically based pharmaceuticals, with worldwide protective patents that will give India the corner on the market worldwide for decades to come. In exchange, India will probably be supplying an expanding South Korean industry with a labor pool to meet the upcoming shortages. However, the U.S. Administration isn't letting any of this out, because it would be embarrassed to have restrained the advances of American biomed firms through its politically based decisions***.
Although I made that up from scratch, and it's completely uncorroborated, it's not going to be disproven on a message board very easily. If my political agenda was to promote stem cell funding, then it's a rumor that might be interesting to start.
***That's a complete fiction. I just made it up on the spot, OK?

Those fuckers! Sneaking around like that on us!
I have to forward this.
Just have to note this. The panic article: "Russian scientists leave Iranian facility! It must be the U.S. about to bomb Iran!"
Meanwhile, apparently not fearing the U.S. bombs raining down, the Russian President decides to visit.
