I just took my babies to the non-profit Wellness center for boosters (earlier this afternoon).
Afterwards, my little black fuzzy pervert started throwing up and getting diarrhea. I called the clinic and they told me to call a full-service clinic. That is just fine, those directions are written everywhere.
I called up a place near my house. I don't know if the person answering it was the vet, but he sure was a jerkoff. At first, he started bitching about people going to Animal Trustees. He complained that he was always cleaning up their mess. Then he went on about people who took their pets there have no money. Personal insult. He was going on and on, until I interjected. Asking him if I should monitor kitty a bit longer or bring him in, he condesendingly told me that perhaps I should do that. No answer really.
I told him I usually take my other cat to another Dr, a little farther away. He told me I should go there. Then hung up.....
WTF? Was he rude because he thought I wanted to take my kitty to him for free emergency care? Of course I would pay for it!
Do non-profit animal Wellness clinics have a bad rap in the veternary community because they are cheaper?
My kitten could have been dying, and he totally blew me off. Should I complain or call back the clinic tomorrow?
So I watched him for a while and he started purring and eating, but this could have been an allergic reaction, and this is the closest full-service clinic to me!
Any advice on this amimal lovers?
