    Default Mascara application

Prompted by the how many coats of mascara thread.

    How do you apply mascara?

When a make-up artist does my make-up it feels like they are rubbing the brush from side to side over my lashes. A friend at work did my mascara and she got my to shut my eyes and it felt like she was curling my lashes with the brush.

Im not at all good at applying mascara.

So to the make-up gurus please give me a tutorial?? pretty please.

I press gently into the base of the lashes, then wiggle the brush lightly from left to right as I pull it through to the tips.

I do it that way too. It seems to keep my lashes from clumping and it fans them out nicely.
