    Default Dolphin in Beaverton, Oregon?

So, I've made a decision. It's time for me to leave my dinky little club. It's a nice enough environment, but I'm bored, and I'd like to see if I could make more money somewhere else. My regular is what's been keeping me attached, but nowadays, he spends less than a hundred on me when he comes in, and I'm sure I could make that somewhere else.

Anyway, I was wondering what anyone's experience with the Dolphin in Beaverton has been like. I've heard some not so great things about the management regarding the one in Milwaukie. But how is the Beaverton one?

Both dolphins are owned by the same people. #1 has a reputation for being more laid back,#2 has a reputation for being REALLLLLLLLLLLLLLY nice, but strict management.

Look it up on here, there's threads about them all over. I know a LOT of people who've had management problems at BOTH of htem, but the management at #2(particularly Greg) is INCREDIBLY well known as an ass. From what some of hte older girls say, they USED to have good management, but particularly in the past year I've seen a lot more people complaining about them. Not to mention I've had my OWN nasty run ins with them.

Also, both of the dolphins are higher milage than the usual Portland alcohol club. You'll do couch dances in pants or a gown, that can be pretty intimate and draining(nuzzling faces, cuddling, etc.) Can you handle that?

There's good money potential, but management at both clubs SUCKS!(although D1 may be improving soon since I hear that one of the managers is leaving, and he was the one "in charge")

DONT go to this club with the expectation of good management.

Wow, that kinda sucks. My problem is, the main club I've worked at has GREAT management. If a guy so much as calls a dancer an ugly name, they're all over him and he gets kicked out, or if he's lucky, a very loud, angry, and embarassing warning. But the money's not as great as I think I could be making. I'm tired of $150 weeknights.

So, I'm a little nervous about being in a more ruthless environment. But I have to branch out. I never have, in over a year, and I'm bored to death. I think I can handle strict. I just don't want to be verbally abused by management.

I've heard of the couch dances, but never experienced them. I emailed a few people who work at the dolphin, but everyone seems hesitant to say much about the couch dances. I'm really hoping that doesn't mean they're illegal or something. Are they full nude?

The only way I learned how to do a couch dance was by a girl who works there giving me one. All the girls used to be incredulous that I would get all flustered when someone asked me for a dance- i spent my first week just sitting on guys laps and sweet talking them into paying me for a "couch dance' even though I didn't do it "correctly"

It's pretty much... what you would do with your boyfriend if you were at the movies cuddling. Nuzzling necks, touching them from the bellybutton up, giving them different views of your body- all while fully clothed wearing pants or an evening gown. there is a pillow in between you and the guy of course, coveringtheir crotch. PM me if you want more info i gtg.

I never had a problem with management at either. In fact, they don't even try to make me schedule anymore. They know me so I just go in whenever I want. I've gotten in trouble for leaving without a walk out before, but that's totally understandable on their part. They didn't even suspend me or anything, but I did get a lecture. I did that twice (yes I know psycho move) and they let me back both times. The second time it wasn't even brought up.

They did try to make me work day shifts, but I just had to refuse enough times that they wouldn't try anymore. I understood working a few days shifts at the beginning, but they just do it to the new girls and say it's because you're new and they won't tell you how long the policy lasts so it's obviously arbitrary. They want girls to work at least three nights per week, but again, they don't even try to make me schedule anymore.

I haven't worked there in about a month.

The couch dances were no big deal to me because I started dancing in a very high-contact area. They do get annoying when guys try to kiss, lick, and suck. Yes, they will do this, so it's important to tell them what the rules are. I once had a guy kicked out because he said something rude to me, so the bouncers will work with you. I prefer air dances, but you can make good money at the Dolphin.

I wouldn't even call it a ruthless environment. If you can go up to guys and ask them for dances, you're going to do alright. Many guys ask me for dances by approaching the stage. There are some really pretty girls that work there, but there is variety. I've worked there about a year and there has been one girl who has been rude to me. Someone also stole my straightening iron and some of my makeup (WTF) but I lock my stuff up and have had no other problems.

Good luck. I find that the Dolphin II is really not that bad. It's been my favorite club in Portland so far (I'm going to try some other places in a few weeks).

Thanks sun child. That's a lot of good info. I'm pretty excited to check it out though. Bummer on day shifts though. That might be pretty hard for me. I'm probably going to be going to school soon, and I take care of a sick member of my family on the weekends during the day. That's why dancing is such a great job for me. Do you think I'd be able to convince them to just let me do nights? I'm pretty cute, not a barbie, but a good figure for a very petite girl.

If the management at Dolphin 1 changes, will someone please let me know? My reason for leaving was not getting along with Prince and I'd go back and work there now and then if I knew he wasnt there.
And yeah, as long as he is there don't work there. He introduced a mandatory manager tip out so that he could use the money girls tipped out with to gamble at the video poker machines ALL DAY LONG, plus he is an ass.
Also, I've never had problems with Greg or Bruce at D2. They are both really nice, just don't do things like leaving without a walk out and you won't have any problems with them.

Tell the manager in a sincere way that you have a sick family member that you need to take care of during the day. Make up any excuse if that's not good enough. Say you have a kid or something.

When the manager would ask me to do day shifts, I would say that I can't, because I have a day job. When he asked me to work weekend day shifts, I said I can't. He asked why and I said something like it's the only time I have time to spend with my family, which was a total lie because my entire family lives in Texas.
But that shut him up. Or, I would just not show up to some shifts but was never once fired. So I think they are harsher with some people more than others. I know they let traveling girls work, and are usually more lenient on them.

^ yeah Bruce has always been really nice to me
