I am also interested in the Nutra System, but am afraid that it won't work or more likely I won't follow thru. Please keep us posted and good luck!
I don't know about spending the money for nutrisystiem you could pobaly get the same results by bying lean cusion, 100 cal packs and other portion controlled products at the store.

I almost did this. One of my colleagues and his girlfriend lost some weight on it. Then I spoke to another girl who did it and told me that the portions are way too tiny for a very active person.

Yeah, let us know how good the current food is. A friend of mine was trying to do this last year, but I tried a couple of her meals & I didn't like them. They had an odd smell.
Hope i works out for you! I've used Jenny Craig before, and it's the same kinda system-and I love it. The food is actually pretty good! And they have weekly appointments where you go pick up your food and weigh in-I love the weigh in because it kinda makes you feel more accountable for your actions if you end up cheating a lot during the week. Knowing that someone would be weighing me helped me stick to the diet.

It work pretty well. I started my weight loss with nutri-system. The only reason I went off it is because my hubby is dieting with me and he prefers the lean cuisine. I think because it is cheaper.
One thing to keep in mind. While the dinners were pretty good (except a couple of the pasta meals), the lunches are all these little microwavable cans of soup. If you go on the program where you can pick your meals it should be nice (we were on the favorites where they sent us split pea soup twice a month).
We didn't have a problem with portion size, however you can eat unlimited amounts of salad and we did take advantage of that. Oh, and I should mention the food is good if you use your carb and vegetable choices well. I added carbs on certain days although the womens program says you can't have any (some of the entrees where obviously meant to be served over rice, or used in a tortilla or wrap).

I tried nutrisystem and it worked alright. I did it for a whole month, and only lost 4 lbsbut it worked for my mom-she lost 15 lbs that month! the food is ok, nothing to get excited about but i liked their chocolate.
