Default does it affect you ....

I have been working at my club for over 5 years now. When a guy asks me how long I've been there and I tell him 5 years I always get a strange look. Or at least I think I do. My question is, does it change things when you find out a girl has been dancing for a long time? Is it a turn off or does it not matter? Sometimes I feel that guys would rather have the fresher meat rather than someone with experience. Opinions????

There is a school of thought that dancers can get bitchy, manipulative and jaded when they have been at it for a while. Personally I've never found that to be true. I prefer older dancers and I'm quite sure that part of the reason is because, if they are still dancing and making money at it, they are good at it. I'd much rather spend time and money on a lady who is comfortable in her own skin and knows how to entertain me. The hottest or youngest ass in the club has no interest for me beyond an appreciative glance and a tip if she knows how to smile at me.

Experience is not a turn off whatsoever for me. While some guys like the idea of fresh meat, others are not as keen to break them in.

I think it'll depend on how many illusions the guy has.

If he's the type that wants to thinks the girl's "getting turned on by dancing for him", he's likely to want a newer girl - on the grounds she's not become "jaded".

If they're more experienced, then length in the job may be viewed through different eyes (cf Yoda, Bob_Loblaw, etc).

And there's a way for kaiarose to deflect the question. Just ask "how long so you think I've been dancing?" To whatever they reply say "you're very perceptive".

No lies told, and you've got an idea about how long he feels you've been dancing.

I usually am surprised - not so much that you have been working for 5 years - but at the same club. I just assume - which I am learning is not valid - that dancers dont stay at a particular club for a long time. SOme do and some dont just like the real world.

It's such a small club (20 girls) that everyone gets along great. It's a great atmosphere and positive work environment. And of course the money is good! It's strange because the years have literally flown by.

My ATF has been at Jaguar's now Scores for about 6-yrs now. Although she did go to Treasure's for about 3-mths while Jaguars was closed.

We actually joke that when she stops dancing, she can become the house mom and work until they have to roll her out in a wheelchair.

So experience and longevity doesn't bother me. In fact other dancers have commented that my ATF and I have a heck of strange "relationship" in that I've been getting dances from her for that long. A customer getting dances from someone for over 5-yrs is unusual.

Maybe the strange look on their faces is because judging by your avatar you look very cute and young in appearance, and not old enough to have worked there for 5 years.

I don't generally like the "fresh meat." They haven't had a chance yet to learn to dance well (either on stage or in private), likewise with chit-chat with custys*, and they don't hide their feelings well. I always feel like they're very uncomfortable being there, which makes me uncomfortable.

*I had an awful time once with a dancer on her first night. She came to sit by me and didn't say anything. I sat there shyly not talking either. So awkward! I ended up tipping the dancer on stage and asking her for a dance so I could get away.

when i got told from b that shes been dancing for 4 years i was pretty shocked, ive heard a few horror storys from other dancers ive met and they cant wait to make there money and go. But i personally prefer girls that have been dancing longer, there just more experienced on stage and they are amazing to watch!

Yup, I expect her to know her job, and the ss should be really good.

Not a turn off at all, in fact my expectations go through the roof.

Fresher meat is, umm well, not so interesting. Someone that has a chance of understanding you, and able to keep up in the conversation... priceless.

What amazed me not long ago was that the dancer who told me five years ago that she was 27 and had been dancing for three years is now 22. I guess that means now she has been dancing for negative two years.

FWIW, I have had excellent dances from girls on their first night, second night, etc., and also from dancers who have been dancing for years. I must admit that the girl on her second night who sold me her very first dance lapdance gave me a happy grin when she skipped and ran from the stage to my table.

i've noticed guys seem to respond -better- now than they did when i was new to dancing. i think a lot of guys shy away from new girls because they never know what they're gonna get. like, she might be shy/nervous or whatever... or just doesn't know how to give good dances yet.

I'm looking for that magic combination of brilliant, drop-dead gorgeous and the most phenomenally wicked, nasty, uncontrollable fantasy life imaginable. Oh, and with a sub streak so long it erupts out of the deepest recesses of her insatiable core and winds itself all the way down to the very tips of her toes.

    So.

A dancer with five years in the clubs is already fertile ground for exploration of her intelligence, erotic impulses and incorrigible ways. The most mischievous dancers with the strongest hustle and the sweet, flattering smile are always the smartest. They can play 10 guys 20 different ways without losing stride. After five years, many of these skills become second nature. None of this is news to most people on this site.

I do have an appreciation for the younger dancers, particularly those just starting out, but at my home club this usually results in a completely different type of interaction. Once they find out who I am, they usually take refuge at our dancer group table and dump out all their nervous energy and stage fright right in my face before I can even say "hello." This can be cured with a few rounds of shots, but the repertoire of conversation is going to be sparse, shallow and still. Ultimately all you can offer is encouragement, understanding, flattery, laughter and a reliable safe haven to which they can escape until they have their legs firmly set underneath them.

    Agreed.

I have little interest in younger, newer dancers, since they don't seem to have much of a grasp on exactly how the SC environment works, nor the men who will really spend in that environment.

If I ever ask this of a dancer, its usually just a small talk question, nothing more.

But if anything, if I find out a gal is "experienced" thats generally a positive for the reasons aforementioned by others here, whereas if she's "I just started last Wednesday" thats a sign that by buying dances, that I'm essentially going to be paying the gal to train her. And while there are exceptions, if I do buy a dance, it usually shows in the performance.

For instance, I met a gal last weekend who was only on her fifth night of dancing and she told me that she found it weird that I would be coming into a strip club alone. Hoo boy. Instant deal killer.

Conversely, the other night I was with another gal who was a four year veteran. I had a bit of a "special request" (I won't say what, but no, it did not involve extras).

But as far as fulfilling the request, lets just she was on it like white rice. Hell, she even took enough initiative to add the gravy, and made $200+ off me as a result. Experience matters.

This is an interesting thread. I get asked this all the time and I wasn't sure whether it was just an ice-breaker or whether it was the guys way of assessing what my dances might be like.

Since Im not into lying I am thankful that I have been at the club for almost a year now (my first and only club so far) because when I used to say 3 months or 4 months I noticed that the reaction was sometimes negative.

When I think back to my first night and my first few privates dances LOL I was terrible. Some custies are so nice to new girls and basically give them charity dances, I had a few nice custies who did this for me and were encouraging about it being my first night and tipped me well. One of them came back months later and got another dance and commented on how much I had improved

I would think it is most likely an ice-breaker and I don't think it would necessarily provide any insight into the quality of her dances. Like other posters have said, a veteran girl who's been at a particular club for awhile is usually the best bet. Newbies are unpredictable but even more unpredictable are the veterans who constantly change clubs. I understand change is inevitable but one has to wonder why a particular girl might not have gotten any traction at a previous club or clubs. Most of the possible explanations for this would probably be red flags for getting involved with her.

In this day and age it's not all that uncommon to change clubs fairly often. Smart dancers go where the money is and seek out a venue and a customer base that works with their particular style, location or scheduling needs.
Every time I go to club A at least one or two ladies who know I frequent different clubs will ask me how things are over at club B or C. Of course there are girls who burn bridges behind them and leave a club knowing they can't go back. Again, the smart ones (and we know by now that I only hang around with smart dancers) will always leave a door open.

Agreed that the girls do and should follow the money but in this town alot of them have moved from A to B to C to A to B to C to A to B to C, seemingly ad infinitum. At some point, it should dawn on them that maybe the problem lies with them and not the club. There is also a cadre of girls who remain at one place or at least move very rarely. These are the ones I have tended to be involved with.

I would also make the point that not only do the girls follow the money but the money will also follow the girls who do the job right.

Its a conversational ice breaker that I've used many times. Doesn't matter what answer is, but can sometimes lead to further conversation. eg- I'm in LA or Phoenix club- dancer says "Oh, I've been dancing at club for 2yrs, but I sometimes dance weekends in Vegas". "Oh, cool, which clubs"? "OG and CHT". "Ohhh, thats nice, I've had great times at those clubs".

If I get a surprised look on my face, its that dancers I've encountered working @ same club for 5yrs are very rare.

I dunno. In my case, if a dancer tells me she's worked at the club continuously for 5 years, I would think she would reflect the big fish in a small pond analogy.

Can you explain this a little better?? Only because I've been working at the same place for five yrs and I don't get this analogy

I think he is saying she must be one of the club's mainstays and biggest draws.

I don't necessarily agree with the assessment in all cases but it does happen with some girls who get comfortable in a particular type of club. They may or may not be the top earner but they feel like they are in a superior position over the other dancers that they work with. The logic follows that it's better to be a hot girl surrounded by more average looking ladies in a small or slow club than it is to be a hottie working with a bunch of other hotties in a better club.
Some girls just don't like the competition factor of a busier club and some think it causes them to raise their game a notch or two...different strokes, as they say.

Girls leave clubs, stay at clubs, change clubs and go back to clubs every day for a variety of different reasons. Some ladies are content with a particular venue even if the money fluctuates while others will look fro greener pastures at every opportunity. Unless a girl is being continually fired from clubs for some sort of bad behavior I don't really attach any significance to how long she has or has not been at a club or how many clubs she has worked at.
