everything in other reviews is pretty acurate except that if you want to do anything other than strip Augusta is a wonderful place to do it. nice first friday arts celebration every month. nice nightlife. college town (4 or 5 including the medical college of georgia who's name is soon to be changed) NOT somewher it aspire to be a stripper but if you hate contact and don't mind someone seeing your pink the stage money is easy to make, however it does suck that they take half of every table dance and i think you have to do 2 a night and of course they constantly push push push you to do more. never left with less than 150 during times other than masters week but also never stayed there more than a week as they make you work at 6pm -nearly 3am 6days a week. 6DAY A WEEK!!!! seedy looking club as well. girls who want to make money and really be strippers travel bout an hour up the highway to columbia, sc. but other than stripping, almost everyone i've known to visit augusta wants to go back. downtown is awesome for music and just things to do in general. except sunday. also have an awesome pizza place called the Pizza Joint that you will love if you try. single slices for solo eaters as well. I was born there and the river is my source of entertainment. Cant go wrong spending the summer in augusta and just go to columbia to work

Hey girls ... This is the second year I've gone to Augusta to work the Masters golf tournament-- the ONLY reason to ever stop in this rinky-dink town. Last year I averaged 1000 a night during this event working at another club that had sinced closed ... So this year I had to work at Disco Tech. The (female) manager was great, and actually hotter than most of the 3-5 dancers. This club only allows table dances, ON a table, which BTW is about 18inX18in unless you can snag one of the designated tables, which have poles. I could have made a lot more money at this club, if they didn't take 50%! of each $20 dance and then another 20% on top of that at the end of the night. I still made 650-800 per night on thur-sat. Beware travelers of the high motel rates during this week. It's cheaper to rent an apartment for a month than to stay at the super 8 for the week.
