Just writing a review to let prospective dancers know that although you can make excellent money short term (I made $2000 the first week), your money will dwindle down to nothing, because the current manager, Paulie genuinely thinks the girls should be paying more than they make in a shift. He is also very short tempered and complains with passion over the most irrelevant things, mostly about rumors. Also, this club has cameras, obviously, but what's creepy is they have hd microphones all over the place, and what's degrading about the use of these microphones is that if management wants to address an issue with a girl they tell her that they have microphones now, but they don't actually check the microphones. Literally I had an issue I wanted to bring to management, and their response was, I'll just say I heard it on the cameras. This makes for a very hostile work environment. Working here, I made $2000 the first week, $1100 the 2nd week, $800 the 3rd week, $600 the 4th week, and $150 the 5th week. This is because of the hostility of managers (mostly Paulie), and forcing a girl to work shifts that she cannot work ("we absolutely need you" is the response to I absolutely cannot come in this day, I have a prior commitment I really don't want to break). Girls here are not pretty, and the girls who were stunning at one point look washed out, because they are overworked. I worked at this club when it was called Hots for a year, and the reason I stayed was because the manager of the girls at the time did an amazing job. Vegas Strip is absolutely nothing like that. Vegas Strip is not fun, and it is definitely not professional. Paulie goes about addressing serious issues in the most degrading and unprofessional ways, he does not use discretion, and he does not care about the girls, and he definitely does not care about the girls money. Something you should know about Paulie is he used to be a customer for years, he was one of the few who always got into the club for free, and he never even spent a dollar on girls. If he got dollar dances, somebody else was paying for them. So when a girl comes to Paulie about not making money, his response is that you should expect to lose more money than you make in a shift, because of the kind of customer he was. I'm writing this review to warn you not to work at this club. After being told over and over that making negative money on a shift happens all the time and should be expected, going back to some of the finest clubs anywhere has been a struggle, because of the animosity directed toward me whenever I had to talk to Paulie. Paulie is the manager of the girls, but he is useless. Ricky was not a very good manager, but he was infinitely better than Paulie. Infinitely. Ricky genuinely cared about the girls making money, and if you had a bad week, he would try to give you a schedule that would maximize your earnings. If you complain to Paulie about not making money, he will instead give you the worst possible schedule ever, to drive you to quit. Paulie is a pathetic loser, and the way he acts is to cover his own ass. Paulie does not care about anybody except himself, which is evident in his behavior. I literally have nightmares about him, where if I have to ask him a question in my dream, his response is "You don't respect me, so I will not help you". I've had this dream more than once. There's nothing more degrading in this world, than a dancer manager, who refuses to even talk to the girls. How can you manage girls, without being able to hold a civil conversation with them? If you are a manager, and you hear some bullshit rumors, isn't it your job to laugh it off, and just do your job, rather than use the hours on the clock telling the girls about how you deserve respect, which is why you won't respect them. Every single girl working at this club looks so burnout and unhappy, it makes me sick. It's a beautiful club, Stephen did a good job building it, but honestly, maybe he should sell it to somebody who can hire reliable (or even average) employees. Pretty much any other club in the state (other than Harley's, that's where the ugly girls go) would be a better option than Vegas Strip at this point in time. Also, how much you owe the DJ doesn't cap out at $25 anymore. I don't like working for clubs with variable cost structures. There was a night (that first week) when I did 34 dances, and owed the DJ $78, but I gave him $100. The DJ had to split the $100 between 3 people, so really he only got $33, so he really didn't appreciate it. But what really got me about that was that the stupid girls who didn't do their job only had to pay the DJ $2 that night. I feel like all the girls at a club should have to pay the DJ at least $20 or something. And it shouldn't be split 3 ways. Yeah, DJs don't make money here. $400 a week is pretty standard. I know DJs who make $900 in a night. Also, because of this weird system where they count all your dances (why don't you just count how many guys a girl goes back with?), once girls find out you're making money, they will do what they can to prevent you from making money. Horrible club to work at right now. This could change, but right now, it is not fun, it is not professional, and I really didn't feel safe at Vegas Strip either.

Additional Information
This club is now called Vegas Strip Gentlemens club, but used to be called Hots Gentlemens Club. The previous girl who reviewed this club obviously had a poor attitude & caused drama, of course management is going to put you in your place if you have a bad attitude -- this is supposed to be a fun job. You can make seriously excellent money at this club, but you have to hustle. Most girls don't make more than $200-$300 a shift, but I have seen girls make $1500 a shift by doing hours in the champagne room before. The difference is the girls who make excellent money aren't the ones asking for dollar dances on the floor. $1 dances & $5 dances on the floor makes you seem cheap and not worth hundreds or thousands of dollars of patrons money, considering dances on the floor in Las Vegas are $20 each. Also, if you spend too long with customers who don't have money to spend, you won't make money... you need to have energy to work the floor to find the guys who want to buy dances from you. Dances in the back are $20. The champagne room is $150 for a half hour and $300 for a full hour unless he wants to tip you extra to account for the cost of the bottle ($30 for a half hour and $60 for an hour unless he upgrades to Dom P or Crystal - I think that's $200 or $300 more, make sure he tips you $30 or $60 extra in addition to whatever rate the host or DJ gives you if he upgrades, so you get the full $150 or $300 for your time) and to account for a tip for your waitress & your DJ. The hosts/DJs will help you out, granted you tip them accordingly. This is a super nice club, and probably the only club in southwest Michigan worth mentioning (Angels is the only other club worth mentioning, but honestly, Angels is overly pretentious & favors girls with tattoos, and are known to turn down 7 out of every 8 girls who comes in to audition there, so most dancers are smart enough to stay away from Angels, because they don't usually hire girls who look like Angels). Amateur night is on Sundays, but if you really want to work at Vegas Strip in Battle Creek, go in anytime after 7PM to audition, that's when the night shift management is there who can hire you. Or call first to see when you can come in to audition... although after 7PM is the best time to audition. Get on Stephen's good side and you're golden. Also, if you are a traveling dancer or would like to freelance, be honest about your availability. They are much more likely to hire and welcome back a girl with a good attitude who freelances and is honest about her schedule and when she can work than a girl who is dishonest about when she can work and just doesn't show up or who thinks she is entitled to show up whenever she wants to work. That sort of unprofessionalism screws over a business, so just be honest about when you can work and what your experience is... they are willing to be accomodating if you are honest and respectful. They just don't like girls who freelance and think they can do whatever they want because they freelance, so if they seem skeptical, just be respectful toward management and the house girls. Lots of customers come through the door at this club, so if you hustle, are sweet, and charm guys the right way, you can make lots and lots of money here. Don't forget to tip your DJs and hosts (at least 10% to the DJ, and if they send you good customers, tip 20%), and you'll do great.

UPDATE: I have recently quit due to recent findings of how corrupt the management is, as well as the continued allowance of girls promoting prostitution through the club. on my final night the manager encouraged one of the less classy dancers to beat the shit out of me. then they refused to return my shoes out of spite. terrible experience overall, it started off great it went downhill quickly. As a new dancer, with this being my first club, I like it so far. I have been here for two weeks, and I performed on my first amateur night ever about two months ago and was offered the job. Amateur nights are on Sundays here. The management is basically a get-what-you-give situation, with some exceptions it seems. Bouncers and DJs here are phenomenal, nice, sweet guys-you should always tip out. Other management is kind and understanding, if you're there to WORK. Many girls fall into the trap of sitting in the dressing room and chatting on slow nights, so if you show up ready to be on your game and work the floor constantly they will grow to like you. Most of the girls are very sweet, and there are many who have been working there for 5 or 10+ years, some even longer. They have more pull, and lots of girls come and go so you have to earn trust and respect there. Drama-starters, obnoxious or mean girls aren't tolerated and you'll be gone unless you're a MAJOR asset to the club. Pole work is not a necessary asset here- there are girls who can do absolutely CRAZY things that most wouldn't be able to top, and then girls who don't do tricks at all. The club is not stage-centric-most of your money will come from private dances, and if you can score them, regulars. Rarely will anyone shell out big stage money. The music is definitely slanted towards rock/heavy metal and the like, as the club currently has somewhat of a biker influence due to the large number of vets and motorcyclists that frequent the place. They do and will play other music but if you're working a day shift, expect to dance to rock, metal, classic rock and even country at times. Fridays and Saturdays have more of a club-feel, and after 11 on most nights they change up the music and you can expect to dance to many different genres. You can also submit a CD of songs and they'll review it and add it to your playlist if it's to their liking. Currently undergoing renovations due to be finished July 1. Will include a cigar bar, expanded alcohol selections, an upstairs level with extended VIP access and taller poles. Dollar dances are a common thing, even though many girls "don't do dollar dances". They're pretty popular here compared to many other clubs. The house girls are very loyal to one another and travelers/freelancers are not always welcome, and it's been said by management that they will most likely not be allowed.
