Additional Information
It's a pretty and clean club, but I had several issues with this place. First auditions. If you want to work there, you have to go through amateur night which is the first Wednesday of the month. Even if you don't want to work there and just want to win prize money you can do this. If you want to do the amateur night you have to pay the $20 cover (I think my jaw dropped when I heard this) and they'll pay you back whether you win or not. I'll just tell you all the rules here since the useless bar maid failed to do so over the phone. When you show up they're going to expect you to go on stage with whatever you're wearing right then and there. So if you want to wear makeup or do your hair, do it at home. Get there around 11 PM because that's when it 'starts'. They're also going to expect you to give them a 'real' name and 'real' city since you're supposed to be an 'amateur'. Around 11 the DJ will come and lead you upstairs in a room near the club’s dressing room and you'll have 5-10 minutes of getting ready. Then he'll call you down to the stage and follow his instructions over the mic. Be careful going down the stage because you have to go down narrow, spiral stairs. DO NOT touch the poles during the contest otherwise you will be disqualified. I don't know what the prize money is. They have a first, second, and third place and girls come from wherever and can bring friends to cheer for them in the audience so that they could win. A lot of the girls wore party dresses or regular clothes on stage. Dress code is...pretty much anything strippery, all the house girls walked around in neon thong/bikini sets. You can wear short dresses if you want to, although something like a gown would look out of place. Wear something different than the other girls. Tattoos were okay as far as I could tell, a few had them. I didn't see many black girls working so they might be one of those clubs that put a limit on how many work per shift. The club itself is BYOB, nude, and smoking allowed indoors. Girls go on stage a few times a night, maybe three times or a little more. Nude dancing on stage, regular dances done topless and in a dance booth. There are no private rooms, all your money is going to be from stage and regular dances. Dances are $20, the club takes half AND you have to pay a house fee on top of that. $40 after 7 and on weekends it's ~$60 after 7 and goes up by ~$20 every hour you're late! AND you're not supposed to ask for a tip during dances. Fuck out of here, make them tip you because they'll expect serious contact during dances. Also for every dance that you do, you have to give the $20 to the barmaid and punch in with a punch card outside the booths at the start of a dance, and keep track with a clock outside the booths because every dance is exactly 5 minutes long and you have to punch out as soon as you're done because it will go into another dance. You get your $10 from the barmaid when you're done. So stacking dances is impossible here. Besides the house fee and dance cuts, the only other tipout you have to pay is to the DJ which is $20. I got the impression that he WILL try to hustle you and guilt you to tip him more than the minimum. They expect some sort of schedule unless you're traveling or have another job, then they can work with you. No dayshift during weekdays, they have a dayshift on Saturdays I believe. Night shifts starts at 7 and ends 3 I think. Customers. A lot of them seemed to be from the Scranton area and west NJ/NEPA country bumpkins. The girls are drama, avoid dealing with them at all costs. There is no house mom. The dressing room, while large and well lit, seem to have designated 'spots' where each house girl sat. The general ambience was not comfortable in there the girls will probably give you dirty looks, avoid them especially if you’re exceptionally good looking. They have an upstairs restroom in the DR and a downstairs one; you're not allowed to use the women's bathroom downstairs in the main area and can only use the one in the DR. In a nutshell: not worth traveling to if you’re from out of town, unless you live in the area or are coming from a town like Binghamton. If you are in the area and can travel, definitely try to get into clubs around Philly, they’ll be more worth your time.
